Fiberfill Stuffing Yarn (Worsted Weight any color)
6 mm Eyes or buttons Black Sport Yarn or Embroidery Floss

Sc 2 tog- Decrease -Single Crochet 2 stitches together

Head
Round 1 - 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook. (6 sts)
Round 2 - 2 sc in each st. (12 sts)
Round 3 - *2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next st, repeat from *. (18 sts)
Round 4 - *2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 2, repeat from *. (24 sts)
Round 5 - *2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3, repeat from *. (30 sts)
Round 6 – *2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 4, repeat from *. (36 sts)
Round 7 to11 - 1 sc in each st around. (36 sts)
Round 12- *sc 2 tog, 1 sc in next 4, repeat from *. (30 sts)
Round 13- *sc 2 tog, 1 sc in next 3, repeat from *. (24 sts)
If using safety eyes, attach them now.

Fasten off, leaving sewing length

Legs (make 2)
Round 1 - Ch 7. (7 sts)
Round 2 - Work in both sides of the chain. In the 2nd ch from the hook, SC in the first 5 ch. SC
3 times in the next ch. SC in next 4 ch, Inc in last ch. (14 sts)
Round 3 - 2 sc in 1st, 7th, 8th & 14th SC. (18 sts)
Round 4 to 5 - SC around. (18 sts)
Round 6 - SC in first 5 sc, sc 2 tog 4 times over the next 8 SC, SC in last 5 SC. (14 sts)
Round 7 - SC in first 5 sc, sc 2 tog 2 times over the next 4 SC, SC in last 5 SC. (12 sts)

Start to stuff the arm.
Round 8 to 9 - SC around. F/O. (8 sts)

Ears (make 2)
Round 1 - 6 SC in Magic Ring. (6 sts)
Round 2 - 2 sc in each st. (12 sts)
Round 3 - *2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next st, repeat from *. (18 sts)
Round 4 to 11 - SC around. (18 sts)
Round 12 - *sc 2 tog, 1 sc in next st, repeat from *. (12 sts)
Round 13 to 16 - SC around. F/O. (12 sts)

Tail
Chain 2. 40 sc in 2nd st from hook.
Or make a pompom. wrap yarn 50+ times around cardboard. Slide yarn off cardboard, tie
piece of yarn tightly around center of loops.
Cut ends, trim to shape, sew to center back of body.

Construction Notes:

Attach the safety eyes to the head on approximately round 9 then stuff the head.
Sew the arms on each side of the body, directly under the bottom of the head.
Stuff and sew the legs at the lower front of the body, so the rabbit is in a sitting position.
Sew the ears on the top of the head in the center.
Using 2 strands of the black yarn or floss, sew on the nose and mouth on the head, then sew
onto the arms and legs to separate the fingers and toes.
Use knee high panty hose to keep the stuffing from showing through the stitches. Tie a knot
and seal the end.

Before sewing any of the parts together make sure you brush each part with a wire brush if you
want your rabbit to look fluffy (optional).
