Sewing on wings and face

It is relatively easy to sew the wings to the back of your Caterpillar body. I tend to do it at the back
where the colour changeover is visible.

To create to eyes you can either create your own Crochet eyes, use safety eyes or do as I have done.

I used black yarn and placed the eyes around line 23 of Body section with a space of around 6
stitches between each eye. Using a simple line and going up two rows.

To add rosy cheeks you can get a coloured pencil and gently rub in circular motion to build up a faint
colour to the cheeks.

************************

This butterfly has so many possibilities; you can create in any colour combinations or patterns. For
the Blue and Green Butterfly I changed colour every 2 rounds.
It is always best to use 100% cotton when creating Amigurumi as other yarns tend to stretch and
lose shape over time.

The size of your Final Butterfly will vary based on the yarn you use. For the larger butterfly I used
‘Drops love you 6’. The smaller butterfly was created with ‘Womens institute soft and silky’.
