Materials needed
 Worsted weight yarn (4 medium)
 Size “E/4-3.50MM” crochet hook
 Yarn needle
 Scissors
 8 mm safety eyes
 Marker or scrap yarn for marker. (I always use scrap yarn)
 Poly-fil stuffing
 Push pins (optional)
Abbreviations to know
 Chain (ch)
 Slip Stitch (sl st)

 Invisible Decrease (inv dec)(single crochet invisible decrease)

 Front Loop Only(FLO)(this is when we work into the front loop only)
 -You will also need to change color. (The way I change color is by finishing last st
in the row previous with the color change yarn.)

-As always feel free to use whatever colors that inspire you and make you happy.

Measurements & Gauge

-This piece measures approximately 14“ tall and 5” wide arm to arm.
-Approximate gauge for this piece - 6 1/2 rows X 6 sts = 1”
-Skill level intermediate to advanced
-Remember to work this pattern tightly for best results.
Feet/Legs/Body
(Color A)
Row#-1- ch 2, sc 6 into the second ch from the hook, PM(6 sts)
Row#-2- inc in all sts, PM(12 sts)
Row#-3- sc 1, inc in the next st. repeat for the whole round, PM(18 sts)
Row#-4- sc 2, inc in the next st. repeat for the whole round, PM(24 sts)
Row#-5- sc 10, inv dec, inv dec, sc 10, PM(22 sts)
Row#-8- sc 7, inv dec, inv dec, sc 7, PM(16 sts
Row#-11-13- sc for the whole round, PM(12 sts)
Row#-14- dc in FLO for the whole round, PM(12 sts)
-sl st and cut yarn. Weave tails in.
-Fold the dc round you just worked down to make the next part easier.
-Join (Color B) With a sl st in the BLO of row #13.(I recommend joining at the back of
the foot and to the left, so that the jog that is left when changing color is in the back).
Row#-15- sc in BLO for the whole round, PM(12 sts)
Row#-16-17- sc for the whole round, PM(12 sts)(change to (Color C) on the last st of
row #17)
Row#-18-20- sc for the whole round, PM(12 sts)(change to (color B) on the last st of
row #20)

Row#-24-26- sc for the whole round, PM(12 sts)(change to (Color B) on the last st of

-sl st, cut and weave in tails.
-STUFF foot and leg.
-Fold the dc row that you folded down back up.
-repeat for second leg
-To join both legs, sl st together with (Color B) in the center of both legs with legs
facing you.

Row#1- ch 24, sl st to join(24 sts)(make sure to give yourself a starting ch tail long
enough for sewing to the body)

-sl st, cut and weave tail in.
-Sew to body with the starting ch tail.
Arms
(Color D)
Row#1- ch 2, sc 6 into the second ch from the hook, PM(6 sts)
Row#2- inc in all sts, PM(12 sts)
Row#3-8- sc for the whole round, PM(12 sts)(change to (Color C) on the last st of row

-sl st, cut and leave tail for sewing.
-Sew through the sts of last row to close.
-Repeat for second arm
-Sew to the sides of body under the collar after attaching the bell sleeves. Try to
center the arms with the legs.
Bell sleeves
(Color C)
Row#1- ch 12, sl st to join (12 sts)(make sure to leave a starting ch tail long enough for
sewing)
Row#2- hdc 1, hdc inc in the next st, repeat for the whole round, PM(18 sts)
Row#3- hdc inc in all sts,(36 sts)
-sl st, cut and weave tail in.
-Repeat for second arm.
-Sew to arm using the starting ch tail.
Head
(Color D)
Row#3- sc 1, inc in the next st, repeat for the whole round, PM(18 sts)
Row#18- sc 5, inv dec, repeat for the whole round, PM(36 sts)
Row#19- sc 4, inv dec in the next st. repeat for the whole round, PM(30 sts)
-Place eyes. I placed mine between rows #12 and #13 with 8 spaces in between.
-STUFF
Row#23- inv dec for th whole round(6 sts)
-sl st, cut and leave a long tail for sewing.
-With tail weave through the FLO of all sts and pull tight, leave the rest of the tail for
sewing to body.
-Sew head to body by sewing though the BLO of row #55 of body.
Hair
(Color E)
Row#11- sl st, sc 2 into the next st, hdc 2 into the next st, dc 2 into the next st, trc 2
into the next 4 sts, dc 2 into the next st, hdc 2 into the next st, sc 2 into the next st, sl
st, PM, sc for the rest of the round, ch 1 and turn work(52 sts)
-We will now be working back and forth from marker to marker with a ch 1 and turn
at the end of each row(30 sts)
Row#12-26- sc for the whole row, ch 1 and turn(30 sts)
Row#27- sc 3, inv dec in the next st, repeat for the whole row, ch 1 and turn(24 sts)
-sl st, cut and weave tails in. (DO NOT REMOVE MARKERS)
-Join new yarn with a sl st at the right marker.

Row#30- *sc 2 in the next st, hdc 2 into the next st, dc 2 into the next st, trc 2 into the
next 3 sts, dc 2 into the next st, hdc 2 into the next st, sc 2 into the next st* (repeat
from*to* 4 more times), hdc 2 into the next st, dc 2 into the next st, trc 2 into the
next st, sl st into the same st. (96 sts not counting the last sl st)
-Cut yarn leaving a long tail so we can sew to head.
-Sew to head around the perimeter of the last row worked in the round.
Headband
(Color B)
Row#1- ch 21 (we will work into the 2nd ch from hook)(20 sts)
Row#2- sc for the whole row, ch 1 and turn(20 sts)
Row#3- sc for the whole row, sl st, cut and leave a tail long enough for sewing onto
the head.
(Optional) Use push pins to help keep the headband in place while you sew it to the
head.
Donuts with sprinkles

(Color A)(Repeat with Color F)
Row#1- ch 9 and sl st to join(9 sts)
Row#2- sc for the whole round, PM(9 sts)
-sl st, cut and leave a long tail for sewing
-Repeat for the second half of donut
-You will need two of each side. (2 frosting sides and 2 donut sides) 4 pieces total to
complete both donuts.
-Flip both sides of the donut inside out and sew together through the matched up sts
of the starting chs. Then flip right side out and begin closing up the outer perimeter
by sewing through both loops of the bottom sts and through the FLO of the top sts.
Be sure to stuff a little as you go.
-When finished with the donut, you can make sprinkles (Color C) by weaving in and
out of the donut in various directions trying to keep the size of sprinkle about the
same.
-If you notice that you cant see the hole in the middle very well you can use the back
of your crochet hook or your finger to twist lightly and you should see the donut take
a better shape.
-Now just sew the donuts to the headband and you are done.
