Rnd 30: [sc in next 3 st, dec] x8 (32 sts)

Rnd 31: [sc blo in next 2 st, dec blo] x8 (24 sts)

Note: This blo round helps identify where to sew, when the blanket is attached to the head later.

Rnd 32: sc in all 24 st (24 sts) Stuff the head with fiberfill. Take your time with this step. Pause here
and go on to crochet the beanie – you will be able to make add more/remove filling from your head if
your beanie fits wrong. Leave the yarn attached.

Rnd 33: [sc in next st, dec] x8 (16 sts) Add a little more filling as required.

Rnd 34: dec x8 (8 sts) Close the remaining stitches through the front loops (refer tutorial C).

Rnd 3: [sc in next 2 st, sc inc in next st] x3 (12 sts)

Rnd 4: [sc in next 3 st, sc inc in next st] x3 (15 sts)

Rnd 5: [sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st] x3 (18 sts)

Rnd 6: [sc in next 5 st, sc inc in next st] x3 (21 sts)

Rnd 7-13: sc in all 21 st (21 sts) (7 Rnds)

Break the yarn leaving a long tail (about 20cm) for sewing ears to head.

ROHY

(Make 2) Using a US B/1 (2.25mm) hook and white yarn,

make a magic ring. Short antler – antler A:

Rnd 1: ch1, sc 8 into ring. Pull the ring closed. (8 sts)

Rnd 2-3: sc in all 8 st (8 sts) (2 Rnds)

Rnd 4: sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 3 st (9 sts)

Rnd 5: sc in all 9 st (9 sts)

Rnd 6: sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 4 st (10 sts)

Rnd 7: sc in next 5 st (5sts)

Break the yarn and stuff antler firmly. Main antler – antler B:

Rnd 1: ch1, sc 8 into ring. Pull the ring closed. (8 sts)

Rnd 2-3: sc in all 8 st (8 sts) (2 Rnds)

Rnd 4: sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 3 st (9 sts)

Rnd 5-7: sc in all 9 st (9 sts) (3 Rnds) Start filling.

Rnd 8: sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st, sc in next 4 st (10 sts)

Rnd 9: Take antler A and starting in the next st (see photo to the right) sc in next 10 st. Continuing
around on to antler B sc in next 10 st (20 sts)

Rnd 10: dec, sc in next 8 st, dec, sc in next 8 st (18 sts)

Rnd 11: [dec, sc in next 2 st] x4, dec (13 sts)

Rnd 12: [dec, sc in next 2 st] x3, sc in next st (10 sts)

Rnd 13-18: sc in all 10 st (10 sts) (6 Rnds)

Break the yarn leaving a long tail (about 20cm) for sewing antler to head. Stuff firmly. Weave in yarn
end from antler A.

ČUMÁK

Using a US B/1 (2.25mm) hook and brown yarn,

make a foundation ch 5 Rnd 1: Starting in the 2nd st from hook, working into back ridge - sc in next 3
st, sc inc in next st. You will now be working into the opposite side of the foundation chain – sc in
next 3 st, sc inc in next st (10 sts)

Rnd 3: sc inc in next st, sc in next 6 st, sc inc in next 2 st, sc in next 4 st, sc inc in next st (18 sts)

Rnd 1 cont.: You will now be working into the opposite side of the foundation ch, hdc into next 6
sts, 2 hdc into next st, join round with a sl st into beg ch2. (18 sts)

Rnd 2: ch1, [sc, hdc, ch3, sl st into 3rd ch from hook, hdc into same st as 1st hdc, sc, sl st] x2, sc,
ch3, sl st into 3rd ch from hook, sc into same st as 1st sc, sl st, [sc, hdc, ch3, sl st into 3rd ch from
hook, hdc into same st as 1st hdc, sc, sl st] x2, sl st x2. Break yarn leaving a long tail (about 15cm).

BOBULE

(Make 3) Using a US B/1 (2.25mm) hook and red yarn:

Rnd 1: work 6 sc into MR.

Rnd 2: [sc, inc] x3 (9 sts) Break yarn leaving a long tail (about 15cm). Thread needle and weave yarn
into each st around as shown above.
