yds/100gm) – 2 hanks
Crochet Hook Size K 2

Gauge: 12 hdc / 4 inches/10 cm.

over, insert hook from the front side of the
work right to left around the post of stitch

Row 1 (ws): Ch 21, hdc in 3 ch from hook, hdc in each ch across to end. (19 hdc); turn.
Rows 2(rs) &3(ws): Ch 2, hdc in each stitch across; turn.
Row 4: Ch 2, *hdc in next 4 stitches, fphdc around 5th hdc of Row 2, skip next stitch; repeat from * to last 4
stitches. Hdc in last 4 stitches, turn.
Row 5: Ch 2, hdc in each stitch across, turn.
Row 6: Ch 2, *hdc in first 4 stitches, fphdc around previous fphdc below, skip next stitch; repeat from * to
last 4 stitches. Hdc in last 4 stitches, turn.
Row 7: Ch 2, hdc in each stitch across, turn.

Repeat rows 6&7 until there are 67 fphdc.
