This pattern doesn’t contain basic crocheting lessons.
Level of difficulty: intermediate.
You need to have basic crocheting skills to use this pattern. The pattern
is my authoring.

Materials and tools:


1. Yarn:
“HIMALAYA DOLPHIN BABY”-80309 pink (2 skein)
“HIMALAYA DOLPHIN BABY”-80301 white (half of skein)

* You can crochet from any yarn (yarn consumption depends on your crocheting density),
select the size of the hook and eyes individually for your yarn.

2. Color eyes on a secure mount size 18-20 mm (0.70-0.78 in) (2 pcs)


4. Black eyelash embroidery thread
3. Pink blush or pastel
4. Toy filler (synthetic fluff or holofiber)
5. Long needle
6. Scissors
7. Crochet hook size 3.5
8. Pins to temporarily attach parts

Abbreviations:
MR* – magic ring
r. – round/row
l. – loop
fl. l. – floating loop
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc. – increase (crochet 2 single crochet in one loop)
dec. – decrease (crochet 2 single crochet together)
dec from 3 sc – work 3 sc together
HDC. – half double crochet
DC. – double crochet
TR. – treble crochet
DTR. – double treble crochet
PS – puff stitch (work 3 HDC in one stitch and crochet them all together to get 1 stitch)
1DC, 2DC, 3DC…and so on – one double crochet in 1 st, two double crochets in 1 st, three
double crochets in 1 st and so on. !!!Do not crochet them together!!! If this is specified in the
crochet pattern
1 DC/1 HDC, 2 DC/2 HDC, 3 DC/3 HDC … and so on – one double crochet / one half double
crochet, two double crochets/two half double crochets, three double crochets/ three half
double crochets and so on !!! Crochet 1 DC/1 HDC in each st.!!! If this is specified in the

Size of the toy: 39-40 cm (15.35 - 15.75 in)

Tips:
• Work in spiral, don’t join with a slip stitch in the end of the row and don’t turn, unless
otherwise stated.
• There are shift stitches in this pattern
• There are turning rows in this pattern.
• Use marker or contrast color thread in the beginning of the row for marking the first loop
of each new row.
• Stuff the toy with filler more tight, so that it doesn’t lose shape.

BUNNY’ CROCHETING PROCESS:

HEAD:

Work with skin yarn. Stuff as you go, do not forget to mark
rounds.

1 r: make a chain of 9 ch, from 2nd ch from hook work: inc, then on
chain 6 sc, work 4 sc in last ch, on second side of chain: 6 sc, inc

Insert the eyes on a secure mount between 10 and 11 rows (from the beginning of crocheting
the head, to the white yarn) at a distance of 7-8 sc between each other, visible loops (see
photo 1, 2).

IMPORTANT: use a lighter to heat the black leg and press it against the white mount. The
fastening in this case will be very strong (see photo 1). For small children, you can embroider
eyes (see photo 2).

Cut and secure the pink thread.

Pull the hole, cut and secure the thread.

Make tightenings for eyes (if you have embroidered eyes, then no
tightenings are required):

The first tightening (tightening is done under the eyes):

1. Tightening of the left eye (if you look at the face of the toy, see photo 1).
The tightening of the left and right eyes is done with a white thread.

Place the pins as shown in the photo (see photo 1). Number the pins (see photo 2).

Insert the needle from the bottom of the head in the point 1 (in the middle is point 1, see
photo 2, 5), bring it out to point 2 (see photo 2, 3), insert the needle into 3 (see photo 2, 4) and
bring it out to point 1 (see photo 5) do this again, slightly pulling the thread (see photo 3, 4, 5,
6). Bring the needle out from the bottom of the head (see photo 5). Secure and cut off threads
(see photo 6).

2. Tightening of the right eye (if you look at the face of the toy, see photo 1).

Do it similarly to the left eye. Number the pins (see photos 1, 2).

Insert the needle from the bottom of the head in the point 1 (in the middle is point 1, see
photo 2, 4), bring it out to point 2 (see photo 3), insert the needle into 3 and bring it out to point
1 (see photo 4) do this again, slightly pulling the thread. Bring the needle out from the bottom
of the head. Secure and cut off threads (see photo 5).

The second tightening (the tightening is done in the middle from the inside of the
eyes):
Place the pins as shown in the photo (see photo 1). Number the pins (see photo 2).

Make the tightening with a pink thread.

Insert the needle from the bottom of the head, bring it out to point 1, insert the needle into
point 2, bring the needle out again at point 3, insert the needle into 4 and bring it out to point 1,
do this again, slightly pulling the thread (see photos). Bring the needle out from the bottom of
the head. Secure and cut off threads.

LIP:
Work with white yarn.

1 r: 7 sc in MR

Leave the thread for sewing.

MUZZLE:
Work with white yarn, do not forget to mark rounds. Do not stuff.

The muzzle consists of two parts (halves):

First part «half»:


1 r: 6 sc in MR
2 r: 6 inc (12)
3 r: 12 sc
Cut off and secure the thread.

Second part «half»:


1 r: 6 sc in MR
2 r: 6 inc (12)
3 r: 12 sc
Leave the thread for sewing.

Sew two parts in the middle between each other (sew 2-3 stitches together on both parts, see
photo). Leave the thread for sewing.

Embroider eyebrows with brown yarn (see photo).

Attach the muzzle as shown in the photo and sew it on. If desired, you can fill it with filler (I
did not stuff).

Embroider the nose with white thread (between the halves on top, see photo 1, 2, 3, 4). I
grab 3 stitches long (see photo 2). I use white thread (see photo).

After embroidering the nose, make a vertical stripe on the muzzle between the halves (see
photo 3). To do this, bring the needle in the middle, under the nose (see photo 1) and make a
vertical strip on the muzzle (see photo 2).

Embroidery the edging of the whites on the sides of the eyes with a thin black thread (see
photo).

Sew the lip from the bottom of the muzzle (see photo).

Embroidery the tongue with pink yarn with two stitches between the muzzle and lip (in the
middle, see photo).

Embroider the nose edging with a thin black thread (see photos 1, 2) and make a vertical
strip between the halves (see photo 3).

Embroider eyelashes with a thin black thread (see photo).

Embroider eyebrows with white yarn (see photo).

Embroidery blush with pink yarn on a white detail (canvas), grabbing 1-2 sc (from two sides,
see photo).

Use a brush to apply blush (nose, see photo).

EARS (make 2):


Work with pink yarn, do not forget to mark rounds.

IMPORTANT: crochet with HDC.

Sew the ears between 1 r and 3 r, at a distance of 3-4 sc (see photo).

Embroider a flower (bangs) of 5 rays with a white thread:


insert the needle between the ears (in the middle, see photo 1) and bring it down at a
distance of 3 r (see photo 2), do this again, then step back on the sides and do the same 2
times (three rays at the same level, see photos 2). Again, we step back on the sides 1 r higher
and do the same 2 times (two side rays are shorter by 1 r, see photos 2). There should be 5
rays in total (see photo 3).

Start crocheting with skin yarn, do not forget to mark rounds. Do not stuff.

IMPORTANT: crochet 3 sc to the edge of the foot (see photo) and put a marker, then work in

Next, crochet 4 sc (see photo 1), make 1 ch, then fold the heel in half (back, see photo 2) and
crochet 4 sl.st (see photos 3, 4), again 1 ch.

Turn out the heel. Put a marker at the beginning of the row, it will pass behind the foot (see
photo).

Continue to crochet foot:


19 r: put marker (see photo 1), next, work 4 sc on the first side of the heel (see photo 2), 8 sc
on the base of the foot (see photo 3), 4 sc on the second side of the heel (see photo 4) (16)

IMPORTANT: You may have different number of sts crocheted to the middle of the legs due
to the different crocheting density. Therefore, adjust the number of sts yourself, the main thing
is that they are in the middle of the legs (in the inner part of the legs, see photo 1, 2).

29 r looks like this:


-Work 7 sc on the first leg secure (to the middle of the inner part of the leg, see photo) and cut
the thread (see photo 1).

- Work 16 sc on the second leg (to the middle of the inner part of the leg, see photo), then
make 4 ch., do not cut the thread (see photo 2).

Continue to crochet legs:


Attach the second leg to the first leg into the next st (i.e. in 8th st), place marker (see photo).

30 r looks like this: 18 sc on one leg, 4 sc on ch, 18 sc on second leg, 4 sc on ch from the

DECORATION OF THE TOY:


1. Sew on the hands. Step back from the neck 3-4 rows down (see photo) and sew the arms
on the sides of the body (see photo).

2. Sew the neck from the bottom of the head (I sew in the middle, see photo). You can also
select other rows. I sew the neck to the head from both the front and back of the toy (that
is, in a circle) (see photo). I sew the neck from the front and back of the toy (that is, in a
circle).

3. Sew on the tail (see photo).
