2 OTHER GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• The user needs administration rights to install.

3 OTHER WOS REQUIREMENTS

• NET Framework 4.6.2 installed. Lantek installer program provides it, in case of necessary.

• Administrator rights are required in the computer where the installation is going to be carried
out. It is advisable to have administrator rights to ensure a proper operation. By running the
 METAL PLATFORM INSTALLATION PRE-REQUISITES

program without administrator rights, Lantek Wos may have problems when it is executed
through “Terminal Server” and when using on-screen keyboards.

These permissions can be configured through the file "Lantek Wos.exe.manifest". Find below the
options available:

• asInvoker: The application will run with the same permissions as the process that started it. The
application can be raised to a higher level of permissions by changing the compatibility
properties of the executable:

• requireAdministrator: Default value. The application will run with administrator rights. The user
who starts the application must be a member of the Administrators group. It the opening
process is not executed with administrator rights; the system will request credentials.
