Practice good hygiene.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the type of
dance you will be doing.
Warm up your body to prevent injuries and prepare your
muscles for the activity.
Stay hydrated and fuel your body with nutritious foods to
maintain your energy levels.
Be respectful to your dance partner and others around you.

DON'TS
Don't be late.
Wear shoes that are inappropriate for the dance floor or
that you have not worn before.
Participate in a dance if you have not properly warmed up
or if you are feeling unwell or injured.
Consume alcohol or drugs before the dance, as it can
impair your coordination and judgment.
Disrespect or disregard the rules of the dance studio or
venue.
DO'S During
Maintain good posture.
Stay aware of your surroundings and any potential
hazards on the dance floor.
Follow the rhythm and pace of the music, and be mindful
of your partner's movements.
Communicate with your partner through nonverbal cues
or gentle touches.
Enjoy yourself and have fun!
DON'TS
Attempt moves that are beyond your skill level or that may
put you or others at risk of injury.
Take up too much space on the dance floor, or disrupt
others around you.
Criticize or blame your partner for any mistakes or
missteps.
Engage in any behavior that makes others feel
uncomfortable or unsafe.
Don’t chew gum while dancing.
Sneezing and coughing while dancing. This does happen.
Always sneeze or cough into the underside of your elbow.
Do not sneeze into your hand and then ask her to take that
hand for dancing.
Don't forget to have fun.
DO'S After
Take time to stretch and cool down to prevent muscle
soreness and injury.
Hydrate and nourish your body with healthy foods and
drinks.
Reflect on your dance experience and identify areas for
improvement.
Thank your dance partner and others who made the
experience enjoyable.
DON'TS
Rush out of the venue or studio without properly cooling
down or acknowledging others.
Overexert yourself or engage in strenuous activity
immediately after the dance.
Criticize or blame yourself or others for any mistakes or
missteps.
Forget to express gratitude and appreciation to those who
made the dance possible.
ACTIVITY:

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.The class will be divided into two groups.
2.We will choose a representative for each group who
will act out something.
3.For example, if Katherine is the representative for
Group 1, she will act out something for Group 2 to
guess. Vice versa for Group 2's representative.
4.Each group will have to guess what the
representative is acting out.
5.There should be three levels of difficulty: easy, hard,
and average.
6.If the other group fails to guess correctly, the points
will go to the other group.
