    To The Moon And Back

    “One person can change your world” they said.

    But I could’ve sworn to the universe, to eternity

    That my heart will be forever locked inside a cage

    Full with loneliness and rage.

    But the moment those deep dark hazel eyes gazed upon mine,

    I swore that I saw peace and forever.

    I eventually knew you were the key to my heart,

    Like a puzzle piece that was missing from the start.

    I knew that once I plan to love again,

    It would be with you.

    It would be you I would run into.

    Even if my heart is icy cold and blue.

    You have changed my world.

    When those deep dimples show when you smile,

    Suddenly I found myself smiling too.

    This feeling is back once again.

    I am shy, and I can't deny

    That it is hard for me to express emotions,

    Let alone express my love

    but I love you, to the moon and back.

    I want love again,

    and it is with you this time.

    So, take my hand

    and we will be together for a lifetime.
