The next blunder, she knows, will be peculiar yet again.

She called his grandson Laurie, whom

she was supposed to had not yet met. Thankfully, Grandpa ignored her knowledge of the
nickname and simply guided her to Laurie.

Amy tries to relax by acting as if she is seeing the inside of the mansion for the first time. She
can't afford another blunder, so she diverted her attention to the interior of the mansion.

Despite the luxurious items displayed throughout the house, the familiar mansion she
considered her second home feels strangely empty and lonely. Well, she'll make sure to remedy
the house's lifeless and lonely atmosphere in the near future.

All of a sudden she is now in front of Laurie’s room, her hands suddenly feel clammy and she
feels cold sweat run down her back. She suddenly feels compelled to return home because this
may not be the best time for this.

Grandpa James knocked on the door, ”Laurie, my boy, I have someone here who wants to meet
you.” he smiled down at Amy who flushed in embarrassment, Laurie does not need to know that
she swaggered here because of him.

The door opened, and behind it stood the man she had loved for almost her entire life. Oh, she
missed him so much it hurts, Amy thought quietly as she scanned Laurie, who appeared much
younger than the last time she saw him. His curly black hair, brown skin, his handsome nose,
which she used to say brought her so much comfort, and his big black eyes, which were
currently filled with confusion and loneliness.

She came out of her trance when she locked eyes with her husband's younger self, and his
eyes inquisitively took her all in, unsure of what to do or say to her, which was perfectly
understandable given that this was his first time meeting her.

Amy automatically comes up with an idea that should leave a lasting impression on the boy in
front of her, so she lowers her body briefly into a curtsy.
