    Dubai launches new strategy to double companies and jobs in the creative sector
    Dubai government introduced a creative economy strategy that aims to double the number of
    creative companies based in the emirate from 8,300 to 15,000 within the next five years and
    to double the creative industries’ GDP contribution to 5 per cent of Dubai’s economy by 2025,
    up from 2.6 per cent at the end of 2020. The strategy includes upgrading the legal and
    investment environment, providing packages, incentives, creative incubators, integrated zone
    and the launch of ‘creative economy classification and measurement framework’, a tool that
    serves to measure the scale and impact of Dubai creative economy sector.
