Prosocial motivation is a degree to motivate, inspire someone to help

other people. Besides its advantages, prosocial motivation still has some
negative impact on the job performance, which directly leads to the job
dissatisfaction:
 Fear of being evaluated or embarrassed: Sometimes people are
shy to help other because they simply think that their help requests
are unwanted and may be disturbed to others during the busy
work. People gradually give up sending the help requests to
colleagues.
 Other people’s reactions: People have a tendency on seeing how
others react to a specific situation, if the situation is vague, if no
one or a little amount of people only react, the low possibility for
individual really happens, when the lack of enthusiasm actually
occurs.
