● Operated optical coherence tomography scanning technology to capture accurate images of patients’ retinas to help physician
monitor existing retinal conditions, make decisions about altering treatment plans, and diagnose onset of new retinal disease.
● Performed preliminary workups to assess patients’ chief complaint, changes in vision, medications, or medical history, eye
pressure, current vision according to an eye chart, and dilate pupils in preparation for their appointment with the physician.
● Prepared patients for intraocular injections that treat common retinal diseases by following sterile technique, pulling drug,
assisting physician during procedure, providing injection aftercare, and educating patients on proper home care instructions.

● Co-founded 1st female Boy Scout troop and became 1st female Eagle Scout in Hummelstown by ascending 7 ranks, earning 25
merit badges, and leading a community service project of building an outdoor classroom pavilion at LD High School.
● Maintained various youth leadership and mentoring positions to facilitate troop meetings, activities, and outings by helping
younger Scouts learn essential Scouting skills, values, and lessons to encourage their own leadership development.
● Engaged in various outdoor activities including backpacking, camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming, and
white-water rafting to expand my experiences while cultivating an appreciation of the nature and the environment.
