Sometimes there is a need of discussing the switchboard design with others. By letting the physical
design, electrical diagram and components of the switchboard melt together, one overall model of the
switchboard is obtained.

Integration is therefore a keyword. By proceeding with the CUBIC Galaxy drawing into SEE-Electrical 3D
Panel+, the opportunity of efficiently presenting the finished switchboard with electrical components,
wires and cables is obtained. This also paves the way for integration with automatic machinery.

For more than 30 years the IGE+XAO Group has been a

software supplier, designer and producer selling and
maintaining a number of softwares for Computer
Aided Design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management
(PLM). These software packages are designed to help
manufacturers with the design and maintenance of the
electrotechnical parts of any installation.

The IGE+XAO Group i.a. offers the software package ”SEE

Electrical” for small and medium-sized industrial installations.

The 3D Panel+ creates the connection between the diagrams and production of your electrical
switchboard by a professional quality 3D electrotechnical design tool with the facility of exporting the
most important output for the service engineers in the workshop and processing machines (e.g. wires
and drill holes).

OPTIMIZE SWITCHBOARD DESIGN AND PRODUCTION

The switchboard data may to a wide extent be exported to recognized file formats – Excel, Word, CSV
and PDF, just to mention a few. The switchboard drawing may be exported in 2D DWG, STEP or 3D PDF.
Consequently, it is easy to discuss the switchboard design with e.g. a consultant, and professional
documentation may be supplied to the end-user.

From Galaxy a purchase order is created, which can be sent electronically to CUBIC. Time is saved,
and expensive fault entries can be avoided.
