Redaction
My name is Adriana Lizbeth Ibujes Chamba. I was born on January 1, 2002, at 17:30
p.m. at the Isidro Ayora Maternity Hospital. I am 21 years old. I had my first child at 19
years old. I was a single mother. My son has my great admiration. His name is Matas
Sebastián Alvarado Ibujes, and he is 1 year old. I did not expect to have a son at that
age, but God knows what he does, and it was not an impediment to continuing to study.
My childhood was beautiful and peaceful; I had the love of my parents unconditionally,
and they have been my supporters all my life.
I studied at the Unidad Educativa Municipal Oswaand l do Lombeida; my secondary
education was in the experimental school 24 de Mayo, which lasted for 10 years; we had
to move to a new home for personal reasons, for my father's work, so I had to change
schools; however, I continued my high school in the Unidad Educativa Municipal
Milenio Bicentenario; I graduated at age 17; therefore, I applied to the Escuela Superior
de I am currently studying nursing at the Instituto Tecnoecuatoriano. My immediate
family is made up of 12 people: my two maternal grandparents, my parents, my two
nephews, my three brothers, my brother-in-law, myself, and my son.
My grandfather's name was Carlos Chamba Aguila; he passed away on September 30,
2014, at the age of 96. He was my great pride because he continued working despite his
advanced age. My grandmother, his wife, was called Maria Elda Pambi Quichimbo; she
passed away in 2020 at 80. Her loss was devastating for the family because she always
advised us, spoiled us, and we counted on her unconditional support.
My maternal grandparents had nine children, but I never really had contact with my
uncles and aunts, and I know almost nothing about them.
My mother's name is Carmen Chamba Pambi; she was born in Catacocha, province of
Loja; she is 60 years old; and she has always dedicated herself to the care of her
children. Manuel Mesas Ibujes Lafuente is my father's name; he was born in San
Agustin, Carchi Pro, and Vince; he is 66 years old; and he worked as a warehouse
manager for the company CEPSA. My parents had four children in total. My older
sister's name is Maria Alexandra Ibujes Chamba; she was born in Quito on December
18, 1981; she is 41 years old; she studied her university career at the Central University
of Ecuador as a Professor of Education and currently has a Master in Education Law and
works in the Educational Unit of the Provincial Council of Pichincha; my sister married
Edwin Loor, who was born on January 1, 1981, in Quito and works at the National
Brewery; the fruit of my sister's marriage are her two sons; the oldest is Damian
Alexander Loor Ibujes; he is 17 years old and is currently studying high school; her
other son, Lenin Martin Loor, is also a student.
My second brother's name is Edison Javier Ibujes Chamba; he was born in Quito on
April 26, 1984; he is 39 years old; he is a person with disabilities, and he helps us from
time to time with household chores.
My third brother's name is Milton Eduardo Ibujes Chamba; he was born on June 30,
1986; he is 37 years old; he is a security guard; and he always helps my mother with all
the household expenses because he loves her very much.
His fourth daughter is named Adriana Lizbeth Ibujes Chamba, born in Quito on January
1, 2002. She is the youngest of all her siblings, the spoiled one of the house, and they
take care of her because the greatest desire of my parents is that she fulfills her dreams
and excels academically.
And this is my family, whom I love with all my being.
