My university class sessions: then and now:

Fernanda Sime Castagnino:

Before COVID-19 my life was totally different that is now, especially with my classes. I used

to go to my school and stay there for 8 hours straight with different classes every day, when

the first wave of infections came, my classes stopped and began to be virtual classes, we

stopped going to school in person and all classes became virtual, every day we connected

via zoom at 8 in the morning, just when the pandemic began I was in my last year of school

and we couldn't have a graduation, our ceremony was via zoom and my freshman year of

college was also by zoom. Now I’m in my second year of college and we started going in

person to the campus only for a few classes, now a go 3 times a week to the campus,

Monday, Thursday, and Saturday just for a few hours.

Joseph Benjamin Perez Lozano:

Before the pandemic began, my classes were virtual, my daily routine was to get up, turn on

my laptop and enter the zoom, all day I was on the computer and in my virtual classes, my

life was being locked up, my group work was by video call, now my classes are face-to-face,

they are more interactive than before, now I can talk with my classmates and do the work in

person, I like talking with them and interacting more, now I get up early to attend university, I

can see my professors in person earlier I only saw them on a screen, I like face-to-face

classes more, it gives me more confidence and helps me to be able to socialize more with

others.
