Experiment 9: Develop, Implement & Test phase 4 of project.

Title: Develop, Implement & Test phase 4 of project.

Learning Objective: Students should be able to Develop, Implement & Test phase 4 of project
as per Society/customer requirement.
Tools: html, bootstrap, tailwind CSS, java script, SQL.
Theory:

Phase 1:
IMPLEMENTATION: integration database to integrated website.
Tools that can be used:
1. Database management systems (DBMS): You may need to use one or more DBMS to
manage and integrate different databases. Examples of popular DBMS include MySQL,
Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
2. Database integration tools: You may need to use specialized software tools that are
designed for integrating databases. Some examples of database integration tools include
Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, and CloverDX.
3. Data migration tools: You may need to use data migration tools to move data from one
database to another. Some examples of data migration tools include AWS Database
Migration Service, Azure Database Migration Service, and Oracle Data Integrator.
4. Middleware: You may need to use middleware to facilitate communication between
different databases. Middleware is software that acts as a bridge between different
systems and can help integrate databases. Some examples of middleware include Apache
Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.
5. APIs: You may need to use APIs to allow different databases to communicate with each
other. APIs can help standardize data exchange and make it easier to integrate different
systems.
6. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools: You may need to use ETL tools to extract data
from one or more databases, transform it into the desired format, and load it into another
database. Some examples of ETL tools include Talend, Apache NiFi, and Pentaho.
7. Data synchronization tools: You may need to use data synchronization tools to keep data
consistent across different databases. Some examples of data synchronization tools
include AWS Database Migration Service, Azure SQL Data Sync, and SymmetricDS.

About sql:
SQL (Structured Query Language) is a programming language used for managing
relational databases. It is used to create, modify, and extract data from databases. SQL is
a standardized language and is used by most relational database management systems
(RDBMS), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQLite.
Some common SQL commands include:
1. SELECT: Used to retrieve data from a database table.
2. INSERT: Used to insert new data into a database table.
3. UPDATE: Used to update existing data in a database table.
4. DELETE: Used to delete data from a database table.
5. CREATE: Used to create a new database table or other database objects, such as indexes
and views.
6. ALTER: Used to modify the structure of a database table or other database objects.
7. DROP: Used to delete a database table or other database objects.
SQL also supports a range of functions, including aggregate functions (such as COUNT,
SUM, AVG, and MAX), string functions (such as CONCAT, SUBSTR, and UPPER),
and date and time functions (such as YEAR, MONTH, and DAY).
SQL statements can be combined to create complex queries, such as joins between
multiple tables, subqueries, and conditional statements (such as IF and CASE). SQL can
also be used to create stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions that can
automate complex database operations and improve performance.
Overall, SQL is a powerful and versatile language that is essential for managing and
querying relational databases.

Steps:
To integrate a SQL database with a website, you can follow these steps:
1. Determine which programming language you will use to connect to the SQL database.
Common options include PHP, Python, and Java.
2. Install the necessary drivers or libraries for your chosen programming language to
interact with the SQL database.
3. Establish a connection to the SQL database using the appropriate credentials (username,
password, server name, and database name).
4. Write SQL queries to retrieve, insert, update, or delete data from the database as needed.
These queries can be executed using the programming language of your choice.
5. Create a web interface for your users to interact with the database data. This can be done
using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a user interface, and the programming
language of your choice to retrieve and display the data.
6. Test your integration to ensure that it is working correctly. This includes testing the
connection to the database, executing SQL queries, and displaying data on the website.
7. Ensure that the security of the SQL database is maintained by implementing appropriate
security measures, such as using prepared statements to prevent SQL injection attacks
and using secure authentication methods.
By following these steps, you can integrate a SQL database with a website and provide
your users with access to the database data through a user-friendly web interface.

TESTING:
1. Test the connection to the SQL database by attempting to connect using the appropriate
credentials. This can be done by running a test script or using a tool such as
phpMyAdmin or MySQL Workbench to connect to the database.
2. Test SQL queries by executing sample queries against the database and verifying that
they return the expected results. This can be done using a command-line interface or a
tool such as phpMyAdmin or MySQL Workbench.
3. Test data retrieval and display by creating a simple web page that retrieves data from the
database and displays it on the web page. Verify that the data displayed is correct and that
the web page is functioning as expected.
4. Test data insertion, update, and deletion by creating web forms that allow users to insert,
update, or delete data in the database. Verify that the changes are reflected in the database
and that the web forms are functioning as expected.
5. Test security measures by attempting to perform SQL injection attacks or other security
breaches. Verify that appropriate security measures are in place and that the SQL
database is protected from unauthorized access or malicious attacks.
By following these steps, you can ensure that the integration of the SQL database with the
website is working correctly and that appropriate security measures are in place to protect the
database and website from security threats.
Output:
Conclusion: In conclusion, the Develop, Implement & Test phase 4 of a project is a critical stage
in the project development life cycle. It involves the creation of a detailed website UI.
