INTRODUCTION
In order to achieve your goals, both in your career and personally, it is important to build a
personal development plan. It consists in creating an action plan based on awareness, value,
reflection, goal setting and personal development planning in the context of career, education,
relationships or self-improvement.
The personal development plan is a strategy through which you establish the interests and
objectives of your career, in order to then put into practice the actions that will help you to
fulfill them. Such a plan is an important step in setting professional priorities and is a key
factor in determining the career path that someone intends to have. Precisely for this reason,
career planning is a continuous action, which can change over time, as our priorities and
aspirations may change periodically. The PDP includes the personal interests, the objectives
to be achieved and the prioritization of the actions that will be taken to reach the desired point
in the career, taking into account the experience and skills acquired so far.
The PDP can also be associated with the personal brand and contributes a lot to its drawing.
At any point in our professional career, it is very important to analyze the situations we are in
every day, so that we can make the best decisions and, implicitly, to establish a clear plan of
action in order to be able to in control of our professional development. We are always asked
to be proactive in all aspects of life (especially in professional life) and a key aspect in this
regard is to know how to react to certain situations, so the approach of our actions must be
constantly correlated with objectives and priorities. our professional, so that we can
constantly develop professionally.
The PDP has a major impact on the professional career of any employee, consequently, the
person in question is responsible for drawing up their own professional plan, depending on
their own skills, aspirations, goals. No one knows us better than we know ourselves, so we
are best able to establish what we want to achieve professionally and, of course, the necessary
steps to achieve any professional goal.

SELFMOTIVATION

Internal motivation or self-motivation is the internal engine that propels us to our goals, the
force that forces us to act in the direction of achieving the goals we have set. Self-motivation
is a key skill in life, which you can develop through goals. When you set important goals for
yourself, which derive from what you really want to achieve, from your vision for a fulfilled
and happy life, you feel full of energy and eager to achieve them. People who are self-
motivated tend to be more organized, know how to manage their time, have more self-esteem
and self-confidence. As we evolve, from one period to another, our needs, desires and goals
change, and our motivation also changes depending on that. Understanding what motivates
you to do certain things is very important in developing self-motivation. Intrinsic motivation
comes from the desire to do certain things or actions that make you happy, that bring you joy,
that you are passionate about. Extrinsic motivation derives from the need to obtain certain
advantages, money, various goods, power, recognition or to do certain things, because "so it
must be". Different people are motivated by different things at different times in life.
However, in most cases, both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators are involved to perform a
certain task. When we like what we do, we work better and it is much easier for us to cope
with a difficult task, stress and extended work schedule. If you do not feel motivated enough
to complete certain tasks, make a list of those tasks and the motivators for each one. If you
find neither intrinsic nor extrinsic motivators, it is unlikely that you will complete the task,
because you do not see its usefulness, you do not consider it important for you. You can
increase your motivation by setting challenging but realistic goals. engage in a program of
personal or organizational goals and make the necessary efforts to achieve them; take the
risks you deserve; overcome obstacles and continue to pursue your goals; get constant
feedback to improve your results; actively seeks development opportunities; try to learn new
things, gain new knowledge and information; surround yourself with optimistic people; it is
easier to stay motivated when those around you have optimistic thinking and feel motivated.
SOFT SKILLS
1. Communication skills

Communication skills mean coherent and correct expression both in writing and orally.
Although it may seem that this ability is mastered by all, many people cannot speak in public,
do not know how to explain or do not make themselves understood in a conversation.

2. Teamwork

Most of the time you have to solve different tasks with several teammates. That's why
employers want candidates who know how to relate to the rest of the team and who
understand what teamwork entails.

One of the biggest problems when it comes to teamwork is the delegation of responsibilities.
To make the work process more efficient, you must learn to delegate your tasks to others and
let them solve their tasks without intervening.

3. Adaptability

This soft skill will be tested right from the time you get hired. Your ability to adapt will be
what will help you cope with the new job and integrate into the team. Adaptability is an
important skill because it will help you manage crises and be flexible when the project does
not go as planned.

It is crucial for employers to have employees who can adapt to the most difficult situations
and who can successfully manage any time of crisis.

4. Problem solving

Similar to adaptability, the ability to solve problems is another skill that employers are
looking for. This skill involves finding solutions, but also knowing how to implement them to
solve a momentary problem. To solve problems you have to be an analytical and organized
person.

5. Creativity
Although you may think that this quality is only suitable for art design or marketing,
creativity is a necessary soft skill in any field. Employers need creative employees to be able
to grow the company. Creative people come up with new ideas, are always innovative and
think of the most unexpected ways to solve a problem or develop a project.

Conclusion

Why have a personal development plan?

The biggest advantages of this plan are:
 a specific goal - the fact that you know exactly where you want to go

 actual planning - a complex analysis of the state of affairs and the development of
strategies for achieving the goal
 knowing the obstacles - you will discover which of them can lead to failure
 understanding the plan as a whole - you will know what to do and when, even if it
will not always be easy
