Development of complete Cross Car line Electrical architecture

Purpose of the role


• The main activities involving development of complete Cross Car line Electrical architecture

Roles and Responsibilities


• Excellent Project management and control, communication skills, Co-ordination &
Delegation, Tracking and Escalation along with Conflict resolution.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and create an environment oriented to open communications,
creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
• Expertise in architecture development tools like PREEVISION.
• Strong knowledge of the system and functionality, architecture, partitioning, design, testing
and integration. Hands on experience in electrical integration of multiple systems preferred.
• Candidates with experience in at least 2 of the below competencies preferred:
• Responsible for Architecture and “In Vehicle Network” design and delivery with quality in
stipulated time by Collaborating with multiple Centre of competencies and project teams.

• Project management activities (Electrical Architecture development plan aligning to project


timelines, status reporting, Risk mitigation, Issue resolution, Resource management,
Competency development, Budgeting, Team building etc..)
• Responsible for delivery of E&E Architecture balancing Scalability, Functionality, Cost,
Quality, time, Size, Weight, Harness metrics, Q current, Network bus load, signal latencies,
ECU memory and aggregate commonality.

Domain Knowledge (Skills Required)

1. Strong Knowledge of Automotive E&E Systems, System Architecture and System


functioning.
2. Strong experience in E&E Architecture design, E&E Feature development using model
based approach, function partitioning, system integration and testing.
3. Strong knowledge on communication protocols like LIN, CAN, CAN-FD, Flexray and
Ethernet.
4. Hands on experience in E&E architecture & communication design tools like PREEVISION
/ Rhapsody, Volcano.

5. Hands on experience in network testing (Eg. CAN, Ethernet, UDS, DOIP) and in usage of
communication and diagnostic testing tools. (HIL systems, CANOE, Indigo etc.).
6. Good knowledge on Electronic Hardware and interfacing design. Familiar with Hardware
development process, interface analysis, schematic capture and simulation tools [e.g.
ORCAD and PSpice]
7. Knowledge on AUTOSAR, ASpice process and international standards related to
Communication and Diagnostic protocols.
8. Strong knowledge on ECU Hardware and Software Architecture
9. Familiar with Cyber Security and Functional Safety related requirements in Architecture and
related standards & processes.
10. Awareness of vehicle schematic design tools and Wire harness tools [e.g. Mentor Graphics]
11. Good knowledge of regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, ECE etc.
12. Excellent skill in Project management, communication, Co-ordination, Tracking, Escalation
and Conflict resolution.
13. Coach, mentor, motivate team and create an environment for open communications creative
thinking and cohesive team effort.

Support Activities Like

IPR Creation, Benchmarking, Waranty Analysis , Cost Reduction, Technology roadmap,Technical


project management
support for making prototype vehicles, pre-production & serial production vehicles need to be
performed

Any Other Specific requirements:


Candidate shall have valid 4 wheeler driving license.
Issue management and stake holder management
