RHEOLOGICAL DIAGRAM
• Newtonian Fluids:
In these type of fluids, shear stress is directly
proportional to rate of shear strain.
So, on Rheological Diagram it is represented by a
linear line.

• Non-Newtonian Fluids:
In these type of fluids, shear stress is not
proportional to rate of shear strain and it does
not follows Newton’s Law of Viscosity.
