MODERN ARCHITECTURE

Numerous types of architecture emerged over

time in the world. These architectural types/styles have

long been employed as an innovative, practical outlet

that often symbolizes a society's cultural depth.

However, most people question, what architectural

type/style is the most attractive, influential, and

efficient? This matter depends on every individual's

interest and way of defining beauty in building designs.

For me, Modern architecture is the most fascinating

architectural style due to its simplistic and functional

design.

Modern architecture, the innovative result of

survival, hierarchy, comfortability, beauty, and

technology. Refined knowledge from the past,

synthesizing life and expression. Accumulating

impressive ideas from scratch, which is derived from the

needs, wants, and demands of humankind. The

architecture itself evolves through time, with that

architecture and time are objectively changing to be as

one, more like in a harmonic way. Simplicity, flexible and

inorganic flow are the key points of modern

architecture. Specifying the minimalism of the past

architecture characteristics. Emphasizing the visual

expression of the structure. Differentiating from the past,

modern architecture provides a unique appearance

yet gives a short time to be constructed. Initial costs,

functionality, and self-sustaining energy are drastically

used to build a new architectural heritage for

advancements of the future.

In contrast to several architectures, modern

architecture extinguishes different features that focus on

functionality, simplicity, emphasizing vertical and

horizontal lines. Maximizing the efficiency of nature by

reducing the cost of energy which is crucial in the

present. The architecture blends and evolves through

time; with a step from architecture, new characteristic

implies the new generation for advancements and

development.
