1. How can the intellectual property protect the rights of inventors, scientists, and artists?

- Intellectual property protects the rights of the original investors, scientists, and artists through
different types which includes: Copy rights, Trademarks, Patent, industrial design, and geographical
origin. In the Philippines, Intellectual property rights is under the republic act no. 8293 or Intellectual
Property code of The Philippines. This is very vital especially to creative Filipinos, for them to protect
their creations and improve the quality of their life.

2. What acts are considered as a violations of the Intellectual Property Code?

- The acts that are considered as violations of the intellectual Property Code are, using a certain
information without credits or citations, using or posting copyrighted songs/videos without authorization
or proper communication with the creator, simply anything that are being used to something without any
consent from its original inventors, scientists, and artists
