The process of taking a bath
First, before going to the bathroom, u need to prepare a towel, a set of clothes, a smartphone.
Then, walk straight into the bathroom, of course u have to close the door, use your mobile to
play your favorite playlist.
Secondly, you need to slightly wash any sweat or dust of your body before u hop in the bath.
While rinsing your body, run a hot bath, just not too hot, becáue super hot water can dry out your
skin and damage over time. After finishing those step, have a soak in the bath long enough to
open your pores. Then, you can add add some epsom salt and other skin- nourishing ingredients.
If your hair’s too long, make sure it doesn’t touch the water, pull it up in a high bun if you need
to. Then climb out of the bath to take another rinse, let the ingredients you added soak into the
water. You don’t have to do this second rinse, but I recommend u to do it becz it’ll help you
remove all the stubborn grime. Since the room’s getting steamy now, your body temperature
will be up and it’ll alow the pores open even more
Finally, u’re ready to double- dip. Enjoy your luxury, long soak in the bath. A hot of evening
bath will wash the stress of the day away. Moreover, your skin’ll get the full benefit of those
extra ingredients u added

Usually these process is just a way of rinsing and moisturizing your body, it doesn’t deal with
your face or your hair

How to cook fluffy, light, delicous rice
Today im gonna show u how to cook/get perfectly rice. Start off with rice in, spot on. Use cool
water to rinse off the dust and the starch from rice that stops the rice becoming clumpy in the
pan and allows it to become light and fluffy once its cooked. To make a plain fluffy rice
exciting , pour into a pan and add some special things like herb, pepper which will make cooked
rice more fragrant. Then, on to the gas, lid on, fire on, lets it simmer for eight to ten minutes.
That’s allow it steam as its cooking
Rice is a staple ingredient, but to get a perfect fluffy and light rice is challenging. It can be
mussy and gummy if u cook it to long. But u cook it to short it can be hard. In regards to ratio,
if u add to much water, it will become wet rice or if u don’t have enough, rice will be burn. The
first thing u should keep in mind if u want to get perfect rice is that rinse rice carefully, take out
the dust and the sratch. it is a foolproof way to make your rice become more fluffy once its
cooked. A pinch of salt would be optional, it will give it some extra flavour. Before these steps,
u also need to spot on the amount of rice u want to cook. Next, put cleaned rice on to the gas, lid
on, bring it to a boil, once the water begin to boil, give it a stir. Turn the heat down, let it
simmer until the rice is cooked. diffirent kinds of rice have diffirent time to cook. In regards to
long rice, it should be cooked for 18mins on simmer. But for the short rice, u need to simmer for
15mins. And for brown rice, it needs 30mins of simmering. The lid should not be removed while
steaming it, u don’t want the heat to escape do you

BURN OUT OR LAZY

Persistent mental and physical fatigue
Why does it seem like u spend most of your time in bed, lying down and not doing much lately?
Are u someone who easily get tired and doesn’t feel like doing anything? Do you label this kind
of behaviour as mere laziness and nothing more. There are actually a lot of overlap between
laziness and burnout. They can make difficult to differentiate between the two
Burnout is a negative stage of emotional physical and mental exhaustion caused by excessive
stress and the inability to cope with it. A survay reported approximately 75% of american adult
have experienced symptoms of burnout, with over 40% of cases being more severe. Now,
more than ever, it’s imperative to educate and better understand the nature of burnout. So with
that said, here are six telltale signs that what u r experiencing it is not actually laziness but
burnout.
Number one, u feel disconnected from everything. Are u going through the motions of every day
as if on autopilot. Is there persistent feeling of deteched from own yourself. If u are suffering
from burnout, one of the thing u might experiencing but don’t quite relise or understand is
depersonalization. Pp experiencing depersonalization, most commonly who struggling with
drauma, report feeling strang sort of emotional numbness or emptiness, as they were watching
life from outside of themselves. They don’t feel like themselves anymore, they don’t feel
engaged by anything, and they constantly struggle with the overwhelming sense of helplessness
and inability to take back control of their lives

Number two, u used to be motivative. Laziness is a charater trait and charater trait tends to
remain stable over time. Lazy person doesn’t ever feel like exerting effort or applying
themselves to things, but u used to be self motivated and high achieving, often excelling in
certain areas and have only recently become exhausted, apathetic and unmotivated then it is
more likely u r suffering from burnout and not laziness like most of people would think

Being insecure about my full of ance face is one of the main reasons why I don’t want to see my
ex. At a certain point, face was like begging and pleading for treatment to get rid of all the
pimples and acnes. So here are the products I chose and my skin care routine I have made for
myself. Start off with cleanser, I brought cerave, the one with light green, I chose it because I
have chance to use it at my friend’s house. For makeup remover and toner, o’leroal and klair are
my selections. In addition I use kenzit – c as a acne treatment. And I got a dhc lip cream, I cant
stand having dry lips. First and foremost, I put makeup remover on a cotton pat and apply It on
my face. It helps removing all the dust and gunk after a roaming day somewhere between thu duc
city and 10 district. Following step is cleansing using cleanse. Usually I use 2 pumps of
cerave ,rub and warm it and then put it my face. I don’t waste my face after apply makeup
remover, I like to apply products onto damp skin. Spend about 4 to 5 minutes to wash my face
with cleanse, then wash it with cold water.
For the next step, I use acne treatment but on Monday Tuesday and firday only, on the others I
use toner. Sometimes I do apply toner after 30 min of using using klenzit – c. however, I just
brought a serum which can heals dark spot, and I hope my face wont get allergic while using that
product, because it contains 10% of ciadasdasd.and don’t forget lip cream if u cant standing
having dry lips. That is my skin care routine at night for acne - prone skin, I hope these products
and these steps work. I want a glowy soft and hydrated skin

The resistance that is offered by the depletion region is negligible
The hole is nothing but the absence of the ele at the particular location. So due to the movement

The width of depletion region will further increase and due to that virtually there is no flow of
current due to the majority carriers. However, the built – in electric field results in the minority
carries in the both regions will be able to cross this depletion region

A pn junction is made of a n type and p type semiconductor. Where p type semiconductor

contains the majority carriers are holes and electrons are the minority carriers. In case of n type,
electrons are the majority carriers and holes are the minority carriers. By connetcing these 2
semiconductor together using advanced technology, we have pn junction. And right here is ther

Velvety scrambled eggs

Crack egg into a bowl
Crack the egg on a flat surface so that the shells don’t fall into the bowl

Cohesive mix between the egg whites and the egg yorks
Soft and runny side
Keep the temperature very consistent
Add half a tablespoon of butter
With my spatula, don’t scrape the bottom of my pan
A pinch of salt

Today’s topic is about how to make scrambled eggs. Egg is a staple ingredient, but to make a
velvety scrambled egg is challenging. Start off with cracking three eggs into a bowl, u need to
crack the egg on a flat surface so that the shell don’t get into the bowl. With my whisk, I gonna
mix it until the mixture gets soft and creamy. As u can see, the cook in the video didn’t add any
water or flour to make a cohesive mixture between the eggs white and the eggs yorks. The
consistency of the scrambled egg is really a preference based thing. I like my egg being soft and
runny side

Describe how mosfets work:

Mosfets has three operating mode: accumulation, depletion, inversion
In terms of accumulation mode, there is no voltage being applied to the gate terminal, so an
excess of holes are accumulated at the interface between the gate oxide and the semiconductor
substrate under the gate. As a result, there is no current flow from the source to the drain

In the depletion mode, there is a small voltage which is smaller than the thredhold voltage being
applied to the gate terminal, resulting a thin layer of electons forming beneath the gate oxide. It
allows a small current to flow from the soucre to the drain. This mode is not commonly use due
to its allowance small current to flow

For the inversion mode, a voltage higher than the threshold voltage is applied to the gate termial,
leading to an excess of electrons are accumulated at the inferface between the gate oxide and the
semiconductor substrate, this is called as channel. This channel alows more electrons to flow
from the source to the drain

Infuse the meat with more flavour
Allow the flavour to penetrate the meat
Your preferred method, grilling, roasting,
Meat is a staple ingredient, but to make a prefect fried meat can be a daunting task. The process
of frying meat can be broken down into 6 steps.
Start off with rinsing the meat, wash the meat with water and a tablespoon of salt. Then, pat it
dry with paper towels
Next, seasoning meat involve to adding herbs, spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, black
pepper,… to enhance its taste and aroma. Or it would be optional to add a pinch of salt, it
helps the meat get extra flavour or any ingredient according to your taste preference.
Make sure to cover all sides of the meat
Let the seasoned meat sit for at least 15-30 minutes, this allows the seasoning to penetrate the
meat and infuse with more flavor
Once the meat absords the extra flavor, it’s ready to be cooked. The cooking time of the dish
Depends on your preferred method and your desired level of doneness
Recuiters have a tendency to show preference towards candidates with academic qualifications,
due to the fact that degrees are perceived as a means of evaluating the extent of
knowledge that students possess.

‘I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any subject' That was the
founder's motto for Cornell University, and it seems an apt characterization of the
different university, also in the USA, where I currently teach philosophy. A student can
prepare for a career in resort management, engineering, interior design, accounting,
music, law enforcement, you name it. But what would the founders of these two
institutions have thought of a course called Arson for Profit’? I kid you not: we have it on
the books. Any undergraduates who have met the academic requirements can sign up for
the course in our program in 'fire science’.
Naturally, the course is intended for prospective arson investigators, who can learn all the
tricks of the trade for detecting whether a fire was deliberately set, discovering who did it, and
establishing a chain of evidence for effective prosecution in a court of law. But wouldn’t this
also be the perfect course for prospective arsonists to sign up for? My point is not to criticize
academic programs in fire science: they are highly welcome as part of the increasing
professionalization of this and many other occupations. However, it’s not unknown for a
firefighter to torch a building. This example suggests how dishonest and illegal behavior, with
the help of higher education, can creep into every aspect of public and business life.
I realized this anew when I was invited to speak before a class in marketing, which is
another of our degree programs. The regular instructor is a colleague who appreciates the kind of
ethical perspective I can bring as a philosopher. There are endless ways I could have approached
this assignment, but I took my cue from the title of the course: 'Principles of Marketing’. It made
me think to ask the students, 'Is marketing principled?’ After all, a subject matter can have
principles in the sense of being codified, having rules, as with football or chess, without being
principled in the sense of being ethical. Many of the students immediately assumed that the
answer to my question about marketing principles was obvious: no. Just look at the ways in
which everything under the sun has been marketed; obviously, it need not be done in a principled
(=ethical) fashion.
Take your cue from someone
D
Is that obvious? I made the suggestion, which may sound downright crazy in light of the
evidence, that perhaps marketing is by definition principled. My inspiration for this judgement is
the philosopher Immanuel Kant, who argued that any body of knowledge consists of an end (or
purpose) and a means.
E
Let us apply both the terms 'means' and ‘end' to marketing. The students have signed up
for a course in order to learn how to market effectively. But to what end? There seem to be two
main attitudes toward that question. One is that the answer is obvious: the purpose of marketing
is to sell things and to make money. The other attitude is that the purpose of marketing is
irrelevant: Each person comes to the program and course with his or her own plans, and these
need not even concern the acquisition of marketing expertise as such. My proposal, which I
believe would also be Kant's, is that neither of these attitudes captures the significance of the end
to the means for marketing. A field of knowledge or a professional endeavor is defined by both
the means and the end; hence both deserve scrutiny. Students need to study both how to achieve
X, and also what X is.
F
It is at this point that ‘Arson for Profit’ becomes supremely relevant. That course is
presumably all about means: how to detect and prosecute criminal activity. It is therefore
assumed that the end is good in an ethical sense. When I ask fire science students to articulate the
end, or purpose, of their field, they eventually generalize to something like, ‘The safety and
welfare of society,’ which seems right. As we have seen, someone could use the very same
knowledge of means to achieve a much less noble end, such as personal profit via destructive,
dangerous, reckless activity. But we would not call that firefighting. We have a separate word for
it: arson. Similarly, if you employed the ‘principles of marketing’ in an unprincipled way, you
would not be doing marketing. We have another term for it: fraud. Kant gives the example of a
doctor and a poisoner, who use the identical knowledge to achieve their divergent ends. We
would say that one is practicing medicine, the other, murder.
Cork - the thick bark of the cork oak tree (Quercus suber) - is a remarkable material. It is
tough, elastic, buoyant, and fire-resistant, and suitable for a wide range of purposes. It has also
been used for millennia: the ancient Egyptians sealed then sarcophagi (stone coffins) with cork,
while the ancient Greeks and Romans used it for anything from beehives to sandals
And the cork oak itself is an extraordinary tree. Its bark grows up to 20 cm in thickness,
insulating the tree like a coat wrapped around the trunk and branches and keeping the inside at a
constant 20°C all year round. Developed most probably as a defence against forest fires, the bark
of the cork oak has a particular cellular structure - with about 40 million cells per cubic
centimetre - that technology has never succeeded in replicating. The cells are filled with air,
which is why cork is so buoyant. It also has an elasticity that means you can squash it and watch
it spring back to its original size and shape when you release the pressure
Cork oaks grow in a number of Mediterranean countries, including Portugal, Spain, Italy,
Greece and Morocco. They flourish in warm, sunny climates where there is a minimum of 400
millimetres of rain per year, and no more than 800 millimetres. Like grape vines, the trees thrive
in poor soil, putting down deep root in search of moisture and nutrients. Southern Portugal’s
Alentejo region meets all of these requirements, which explains why, by the early 20th century,
this region had become the world’s largest producer of cork, and why today it accounts for
roughly half of all cork production around the world.
Most cork forests are family-owned. Many of these family businesses, and indeed many
of the trees themselves, are around 200 years old. Cork production is, above all, an exercise in
patience. From the planting of a cork sapling to the first harvest takes 25 years, and a gap of
approximately a decade must separate harvests from an individual tree. And for top-quality cork,
it’s necessary to wait a further 15 or 20 years. You even have to wait for the right kind of
summer’s day to harvest cork. If the bark is stripped on a day when it’s too cold - or when the air
is damp - the tree will be damaged
Cork harvesting is a very specialised profession. No mechanical means of stripping cork
bark has been invented, so the job is done by teams of highly skilled workers. First, they make
vertical cuts down the bark using small sharp axes, then lever it away in pieces as large as they
can manage. The most skilful cork- strippers prise away a semi-circular husk that runs the length
of the trunk from just above ground level to the first branches. It is then dried on the ground for
about four months, before being taken to factories, where it is boiled to kill any insects that
might remain in the cork. Over 60% of cork then goes on to be made into traditional bottle
stoppers, with most of the remainder being used in the construction trade, Corkboard and cork
tiles are ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation, while granules of cork are used in the
manufacture of concrete.
Recent years have seen the end of the virtual monopoly of cork as the material for bottle
stoppers, due to concerns about the effect it may have on the contents of the bottle. This is
caused by a chemical compound called 2,4,6-trichloroanisole (TCA), which forms through the
interaction of plant phenols, chlorine and mould. The tiniest concentrations - as little as three or
four parts to a trillion - can spoil the taste of the product contained in the bottle. The result has
been a gradual yet steady move first towards plastic stoppers and, more recently, to aluminium
screw caps. These substitutes are cheaper to manufacture and, in the case of screw caps, more
convenient for the user
The classic cork stopper does have several advantages, however. Firstly, its traditional
image is more in keeping with that of the type of high quality goods with which it has long been
associated. Secondly - and very importantly - cork is a sustainable product that can be recycled
without difficulty. Moreover, cork forests are a resource which supports local biodiversity, and
prevents desertification in the regions where they are planted. So, given the current concerns
about environmental issues, the future of this ancient material once again looks promising.

Many forms of collecting have been dignified with a technical name: an archtophilist
collects teddy bears, a philatelist collects postage stamps, and a deltiologist collects postcards.
Amassing hundreds or even thousands of postcards, chocolate wrappers or whatever, takes time,
energy and money that could surely to much more productive use. And yet there are millions of
collectors around the world. Why do they do it?
There are the people who collect because they want to make money - this could be called
an instrumental reason for collecting; that is, collecting as a means to an end. They'll look for,
say, antiques that they can buy cheaply and expect to be able to sell at a profit. But there may
well be a psychological element, too - buying cheap and selling dear can give the collector a
sense of triumph. And as selling online is so easy, more and more people are joining in.
Many collectors collect to develop their social life, attending meetings of a group of
collectors and exchanging information on items. This is a variant on joining a bridge club or a
gym, and similarly brings them into contact with like-minded people. Another motive for
collecting is the desire to find something special, or a particular example of the collected item,
such as a rare early recording by a particular singer.
At 11.39 p.m. on the evening of Sunday 14 April 1912, lookouts Frederick Fleet and
Reginald Lee on the forward mast of the Titanic sighted an eerie, black mass coming into view
directly in front of the ship. Fleet picked up the phone to the helm, waited for Sixth Officer
Moody to answer, and yelled "Iceberg, right ahead!" The greatest disaster in maritime history
was about to be set in motion.

Thirty-seven seconds later, despite the efforts of officers in the bridge and engine room to
steer around the iceberg, the Titanic struck a piece of submerged ice, bursting rivets in the ship"s
hull and flooding the first five watertight compartments. The ship"s designer, Thomas Andrews,
carried out a visual inspection of the ship"s damage and informed Captain Smith at midnight that
the ship would sink in less than two hours. By 12.30 a.m., the lifeboats were being filled with
women and children, after Smith had given the command for them to be uncovered and swung
out 15 minutes earlier. The first lifeboat was successfully lowered 15 minutes later, with only 28
of its 65 seats occupied. By 1.15 a.m., the waterline was beginning to reach the Titanic "s name
on the ship"s bow, and over the next hour every lifeboat would be released as officers struggled
to maintain order amongst the growing panic on board.

The closing moments of the Titanic "s sinking began shortly after 2 a.m., as the last
lifeboat was lowered and the ship"s propellers lifted out of the water, leaving the 1,500
passengers still on board to surge towards the stern. At 2.17 a.m., Harold Bride and Jack Philips
tapped out their last wireless message after being relieved of duty as the ship"s wireless
operators, and the ship"s band stopped playing. Less than a minute later, occupants of the
lifeboats witnessed the ship"s lights flash once, then go black, and a huge roar signalled the
Titanic "s contents plunging towards the bow, causing the front half of the ship to break off and
go under. The Titanic "s stern bobbed up momentarily, and at 2.20 a.m., the ship finally
disappeared beneath the frigid waters.
What or who was responsible for the scale of this catastrophe? Explanations abound,
some that focus on very small details. Due to a last minute change in the ship"s officer line-up,
iceberg lookouts Frederick Fleet and Reginald Lee were making do without a pair of binoculars
that an officer transferred off the ship in Southampton had left in a cupboard onboard,
unbeknownst to any of the ship"s crew. Fleet, who survived the sinking, insisted at a subsequent
inquiry that he could have identified the iceberg in time to avert disaster if he had been in
possession of the binoculars.

Less than an hour before the Titanic struck the iceberg, wireless operator Cyril Evans on
the Californian , located just 20 miles to the north, tried to contact operator Jack Philips on the
Titanic to warn him of pack ice in the area. "Shut up, shut up, you"re jamming my signal",
Philips replied. "I"m busy." The Titanic "s wireless system had broken down for several hours
earlier that day, and Philips was clearing a backlog of personal messages that passengers had
requested to be sent to family and friends in the USA. Nevertheless, Captain Smith had
maintained the ship"s speed of 22 knots despite multiple earlier warnings of ice ahead. It has
been suggested that Smith was under pressure to make headlines by arriving early in New York,
but maritime historians such as Richard Howell have countered this perception, noting that Smith
was simply following common procedure at the time, and not behaving recklessly.

One of the strongest explanations for the severe loss of life has been the fact that the
Titanic did not carry enough lifeboats for everyone on board. Maritime regulations at the time
tied lifeboat capacity to ship size, not to the number of passengers on board. This meant that the
Titanic , with room for 1,178 of its 2,222 passengers, actually surpassed the Board of Trade"s
requirement that it carry lifeboats for 1,060 of its passengers. Nevertheless, with lifeboats being
lowered less than half full in many cases, and only 712 passengers surviving despite a two and a
half hour window of opportunity, more lifeboats would not have guaranteed more survivors in
the absence of better training and preparation. Many passengers were confused about where to
go after the order to launch lifeboats was given; a lifeboat drill scheduled for earlier on the same
day that the Titanic struck the iceberg was cancelled by Captain Smith, in order to allow
passengers to attend church.
