Table with Multiple Measures

Example 1:
• Display a table indicating Category wise Total Profit, Total Order Quantity,
Total Sales, Average Sales, Maximum Sales, Minimum Sales
Open the drop down arrow corresponding to a particular field in the Measure
Values box and select Format. Use various options in the Format Pane to
change the formatting
• Display the values of Average, Maximum and Minimum Sales with two
decimal places
• Display the values of Total Sales in Millions
• Display the values of Quantity as whole number
• Include a currency symbol in Profit values
Example 2

• In the table of Example 1,


• Clear the formatting from Profit
• Remove Average, Maximum and Minimum Sales
• Display Sub-categories also along with Categories
• Display Sub totals and Grand Total

• Go to Analysis Tab and select Totals


Exercise

• Create a table showing Region and Segment wise Total Sales.


• Include row totals and column totals
• Use Analysis → Percentage Of to answer the following questions:
1. What is the % contribution of Central region in the Total sales made by all the
regions? (21.82%)
2. What is the % contribution of Consumer segment in the Total sales made by all the
segments? (50.56%)
3. In the total sales made by all the regions and segments, how much (in %) has been
contributed by the Western region in Consumer segment? (15.80%)
4. What is the % contribution of Corporate segment in the Total sales made by the
Central region? (31.52%)
• Obtain the above answers using bar charts
