Layout Pane

• Enhance the appearance and

layout of the dashboard by setting
the position, size, border,
background, and paddings.
Adding Sheets

• Drag and drop a sheet from the Sheets column present in the
Dashboard tab
• To change or adjust the size and place of the visual, click on the
graph then click on the small downward arrow given at the right. A
drop-down list appears having the option Floating, select it.
• To drag a visual around on the dashboard, use the box at the top
of the visual
Adding Filters

• To add a filter to a dashboard, select ‘Use as Filter’ option given

on the right of every visual.
• Selections on one visual acts like a filter for all the other visuals on the
dashboard
• To add a filter for a specific visual, click on the small downward
arrow and then select Filters option.
• You can select any field based on which you wish to create a new filter.
• You can make more changes into the filter by right-clicking on it.
• To attach a filter to all visuals, click on the small downward arrow
and then select Apply to worksheets → Selected worksheets
Adding Objects

• Objects can be used to make more interactive and dynamic

Dashboards
• Navigation button can be added to navigate to a different sheet
Presentation Mode

• To enable the presentation mode, click on the icon present on the

bar at the top or press F7.

• DataSet: Superstore
• Join the three sheets in the Dataset i.e. Orders, People and
Returns, based on the relevant fields

Create a dashboard displaying the following:
• Pie-chart indicating Ship-Mode wise Sales
• Map indicating State-wise Sales
• Horizontal Bar chart indicating
Region/Person/Segment-wise Sales
• Region in the bar-chart connected to other
visuals as filter
• Filters for Order Date and Product Category
(connected to all visuals)
• All visuals and filters should have borders
and background colors
• Title of the dashboard: Sales Dashboard
