 Converts ASTERIX format to CDR format SSR: Cat. 1 y 34

Function List
 Display of Radar Data recorded in a file.

 Capturing and display of Radar Data via LAN in real time.
 Graphic display of Radar Data and Polar and Altitude/Distance representation.
 Zoom in/out and off-centre functions.
 Label Filter on Radar Data (codes, UTC time, aircraft address, etc...).
 Radar Data Filter (code types, report types, ranges, etc...).
 Radar Data display on antenna SCANs, with the following possibilities:
 Automatic reproduction.
 Stop reproduction (frozen SCAN).

INTRODUCTION
Software Installation
 Run the Astool-setup and follow the instructions.

 A unique licence is necessary for each machine.
 To obtain this you should select ‘Yes’ when the following dialog box will appear:
 Save the file as ‘LicenceRequest.lic’ and send to Indra, indicating the language required

 Indra staff will send you a file named ‘LicenceFile.lic’, which you should place in the same

capture of Asterix frames from LAN.
Capture Asterix from Serial Line: Open a dialog box that allows the management of
the capture of Asterix frames from Serial Line.

 Weather: Category 8 Messages.

 All: If this option is selected all plots are shown.
 Valid: Only Valid Code A and/or C plots are shown.

1 Maps: Enable and disable the presentation of the maps individually. It is possible to display
maximum 10 maps. The Map 1 corresponds to the first geographical map file specified in
the 'Mapas.jue' file. The Map 2 corresponds to the second geographical map file specified
in the 'Mapas.jue' file, and so on.
2 Geographic References: enable and disable the presentation of the lines that represents
Latitude/ Longitude Geographical References.
3 Radar Site Map: enable and disable the presentation in the Polar X/Y Graphic, of the
Radar Site locations specified in ‘Radares.map’ file.
4 Radar Site Locations: open a dialog box that allows to select the centre of the Range
Rings on the Polar X/Y Graphic presentation.
