You are the brand manager of Pran Food.

You manufacture frozen items, juice and


drink, & snacks. Your owner asked you to develop the brand further. Using four
strategies develop the brand. Relate examples with theory.

Brand development is so much important for company.Because customer buy our product
after seeing our brand.About the perspective of pran food company, they can be develop their
brand by following four strategy which are:

Line Extension: Basically in this strategy companies extend their product line by adding
something extra with the same product.For example: Prane can produce green apple juice
besides mango juice.

Brand Extension: Here one company can extend their brand down to the same company.For
example pran company can introduce pran cold hot tomato sauce beside pran mango juice
brand.

Multibrand: Here under one brand there can be more than one band.For example:under the
brand of pran there are a lot of multi brands which are pran juice, pran drinks etc.

New Brands: When a company comes with new products in the market it could be a new
brand.For example: Pran introduces pran milk as a new brand in the market.
