1. Prepare a collage depicting the problems and concerns of a community. (Give at least 3
concerns)

 Adolescent Pregnancy
 Hunger
 Pollution

2. In each problem/concern, give an activity or community program that may improve it.

Adolescent Pregnancy - Programs for pregnant and parenting youths, abstinence methods, or
combinations thereof are examples of teen pregnancy prevention initiatives. Programs can be
delivered in schools, clinics, or community settings to pre-adolescents, adolescents, abstinent
teens, or sexually active teens.

Hunger - Deliver nutritious, prepared meals to elderly, disabled or ill community members.

Pollution - A neighborhood cleanup is exactly what it sounds like: neighbors work together
to clean up their entire or a portion of their community. The community, a structured
neighborhood organization or council, a grass roots neighborhood group, or one or more
concerned individuals may lead the initiative.
3. As a student, which of the improvement activities can you participate in for a community
immersion?

- As a student, I can participate in the neighborhood cleanup.

4. What can you learn in participating that particular activity in your community immersion?

- In terms of participating in a neighborhood cleanup I can learn the importance of

living in a safe and clean space. A clean environment makes life healthier, less stressful, and
more enjoyable. It has the potential to boost inhabitants' and the neighborhood's self-esteem. I
can also learn the effects of pollution to my neighborhood and how to handle it because
pollution is the release of hazardous pollutants into the environment. These hazardous
elements are referred to as contaminants. Pollutants may be naturally occurring, such as
volcanic ash. They can also be caused by human activities, such as factory runoff or waste.
