    All of the scientific discoveries in the past years are all incredible and great, but if I were to choose

    what
    is the greatest among these discoveries, I would choose the discovery of Penicillin. Penicillin was
    discovered just because there is a mold that developed on a staphylococcus culture plate that was left
    by sir Fleming because he went a vacation for two weeks. According to an article written by Tim
    Newman last 2018 and was reviewed by Zara Risoldi Cochrane, Pharm.D., M.S., FASCP that penicillins
    block the protein struts that link the peptidoglycans together. This prevents the bacterium from closing
    the holes in its cell walls.

    Penicillin is used to cure infections that was caused by bacteria such as meningitis and pneumonia.
    Penicillin is an antibacterial drug that attacks a wide variety of bacteria. This drug is also safe to use since
    according to Hong and Blumenthal, 2016 that <1 percent of the population is allergic to penicillin that's
    why it is safe to say that penicillin is not dangerous to the human body.

    The discovery of Penicillin have led discovery of antiobiotics which are widely used in the medical wolrd
    today. The discovery of this anti bacterial drug have helped the entire world fight infections and diseases
    that humankind have suffered. Miss Madison Fletcher, a post doctoral research associate have said that
    penicillin did not only save lives but it also helped in evolving all modern medicine that we have now in
    our present time.
