AN ORDER EXTENDING UNTIL JUNE 30, 2022 THE MODIFIED GUIDELINES

ON LIQUOR BAN AND THE LIFTING OF CURFEW WITHIN THE CITY

WHEREAS, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a COVID-19

pandemic;

WHEREAS, President Rodrigo Duterte issued Presidential Proclamation 1218

series of 2021, dated September 10 2021, extending the State of Calamity in the
country until September 12, 2022;

WHEREAS, Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 156-C series of

2022 dated January 12, 2022 has placed Davao City under Alert Level 3 status from
January 14, 2022 until January 31, 2022;

WHEREAS, Davao City is currently at 95.52% for first doses and 90.24% for
second doses of its target number of inoculations as reported by the Davao City Task
Force on Covid-19 last January 10, 2022;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SARA Z. DUTERTE, Mayor of the City of Davao, by

virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the following:

SECTION 1. EXTENSION. Executive Order No. 59-A series of 2021 - An Order

Providing for the Modified Guidelines on Liquor Ban and the Lifting of Curfew Within
the City is hereby extended until June 30, 2022.

SECTION 2. LIQUOR BAN PERIOD. The ban in selling liquor shall be from
1:00 AM to 8:00 AM every day. As such, no person or entity shall sell liquor or any
alcoholic beverages within this time period.

SECTION 3. CONSUMPTION. The following are not allowed 24 hours a day,

every day of the week:

a. The serving of liquor for consumption in bars, restaurants, sari-sari

stores, palengke (wet market), videoke, and other business
establishments;

b. Drinking liquor in all public places including but not limited to streets,
alleys, pathways, and outside of gates.

SECTION 4. PRIVATE PROPERTIES. Liquor may only be served and

consumed inside private properties.

SECTION 5. CURFEW. The curfew time in all public places is hereby lifted.

 SECTION 6. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this Executive
Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected thereby
shall remain valid and subsisting.

SECTION 7. REPEALING CLAUSE. All Orders or parts thereof which are

inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order are hereby repealed or
modified accordingly.

SECTION 8. EFFECTIVITY. This Order shall take effect from January 16,
2022 until June 30, 2022.
