1. Send invitations for the party, so that people know when and where it is.

Work with a partner. Talk about a party that you went to. Use ‘was’ and ‘were’ to describe things.

Students work in pairs for the activity. Give students 3-5 minutes for this.

Students can work in pairs and then check with the teacher.
