How Ultimate Skills Work
Ultimate skills are the evolution of Unique skills and can only be gained by someone with a
strong enough soul. They are skills born from the user's desires and intense emotions. Due
to this no two skills are ever the same. Even if they have the same name, their powers may
differ wildly. Ultimate skills, like their predecessors, consist of several sub skills. Sub skills
are what make up Ultimate and Unique skills, unlike Extra or Common skills (which don’t
have any sub skills.). Sub skills allow Unique and Ultimate skills a variety of different powers
based on those skills. But all Ultimate skills have a certain thing in common that most
Unique skills don't, they all give a certain administrative authority over a particular aspect of
the world. The authority of Ultimate skills can be as simple as producing extremely hot
flames, to as complex as manipulating the laws of physics and nature to the user's will.
Ultimate skills grant the user a level of power unrivaled by anything that isn’t of equal power,
such as Unique skills or weapons below Mythical grade. If someone with a Unique skill were
to beat someone of the Ultimate level it would have to be a combination of luck, talent,
experience and perfect circumstances. This is due to the extreme difference between levels.
But even if you do have either an Ultimate skill or Mythical grade equipment, that doesn't
mean you're on the same level of power as someone else with them. Even within the
Ultimate level, abilities vary tremendously and all skills are different. The power of your
Ultimate skill all depends on the strength of your will or more accurately your soul, the same
applies to Mythical grade equipment due to it having to accept you as its owner before you
can utilize its power. The more powerful your soul or strength of will is, the more powerful
your skill will be. Another factor towards the power of Ultimate skills is how intune it is with
the user's personality. For example with the Ultimate skill Greedy King (Mammon) the more
Greedy the user is the more effective the skill will be.
But even if you have a strong will, training and experience are still required to learn the true
essence of the skill. The true essence of a skill, put in simpler terms, is the proper way to
use it. An Ultimate skill when used incorrectly will not be able to display its true capabilities;
an example of this is when Dino fought Beretta. Dino assumed Sloth King (Belphegor) was a
skill that stores energy over time by being lazy, and then using that stored energy to release
powerful attacks that hold absolute dominance over anyone with wisdom and emotions. But
the true essence of the skill was that the stored energy was meant to be given to others and
have them do all the work.
The Seven Ultimate Skill Classifications
Lord - The Lord class is simply an alternate way to address King class skills for example
Covenant King (Uriel) is Lord of Vows or Heat King (Amaterasu) is Lord of Shimmering Flame.
King - The King class is the most well known and widely used class. This is the class that you
will get if you gain an Ultimate Skill by evolving a Unique Skill or by other normal methods.
God - This class can only be obtained by fusing two Virtue or Sin Series skills or to hone your
ultimate skill to perfection and evolve it. There are also cases where the user has to meet
certain qualifications in order to evolve their skill, such was the case with Chloe Aubert. These
skills are extremely rare and are some of the strongest skills currently known.
Ruler/Sovereign - Unknown
Manas - Manas is the evolution of an Ultimate Skill or a Unique Skill that has grown an ego and
has been named, though most examples have been Ultimate Skills.
Ultimate Gift/Enchantment - These are rare cases where an Ultimate Skill holder can grant
weakened versions of their Ultimate Skill(s) to their subordinates. Some examples are that the
holder of Justice King (Michael) is able to grant the Ultimate Enchantment {Alternative} which
the recipient can add to their own skills to make them stronger or change it to fit them better. Or
more Unique cases where the holder makes the skill for their subordinates according to their
aptitudes. Unlike regular Ultimate skills these skills are engraved in the body not the soul and
due to this they are not as powerful. But to even obtain an Ultimate Gift/Enchantment your body
must be on the level of a spiritual life form.
No Title - These are Ultimate Skills that do not have Ranks mostly found as Ultimate Gifts or
Enchantments.
Virtue Skill System
Lord of Justice - Justice King (Michael) Holder Veldanava > Rudra/Michael >
Rudra/Micheal/Feldway > Micheal/Feldway > Rimuru Tempest/Feldway
● This skill was owned by Veldanava who kept it until gifting it his apprentice Rudra to help
him with his goal of uniting the world, but unfortunately Veldanava died before Rudra
ever got anywhere [Spoiler alert this goal never came to Fruition]. But due to the skill
being too powerful for Rudra to handle he was forced to reincarnate many times but in
doing so the Ultimate Skill Justice King (Michael) began to gain a will of its own and was
given the name Michael by Feldway and Became a Manas. Eventually it took over Rudra
and began its mission of resurrecting its true owner Veldanava, but also failed in the end.
The Skill specializes in Domination and Chain of Command; it has also been called the
strongest Ultimate Skill of the Virtue or Angelic Systems because of its ability to have
Absolute Control over the holders of these skills and use any of the abilities of the
Dominated individuals through ‘Ultimate Dominion’. But there are flaws to the
domination; when the user dominates someone they won't truly be loyal to the user and
still can try to resist. And if the person dominated by the user is not within sight while
being in an isolated space the control will not be very effective, if not work at all. And with
‘Regalia Dominion’, which gets rid of the individual's free will, there are ways to break
free but it is much harder and the circumstances must be perfect in order for it to be
achieved. The Castle Guard is a True Absolute Defense that blocks any and all attacks,
But it has its drawbacks: it can only be used if there are individuals who are loyal to the
user though the more believers the user has the stronger it becomes, but while it is
active the user can't use any attack type abilities, with ‘Haki’ being the only kinda
exception. The Castle guard can also be nullified if another individual has a Castle
Guard with more believers to fuel it. The Skill grows stronger the more people believe in
the user. It is one the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills the so called purest Ultimate
Skills one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills.
● Castle Guard - A True Absolute Defense that blocks all attacks, but it can only be used
if there are individuals who are loyal to the user, and while it is active the user can't use
any attack type abilities. The more believers the user has the stronger it becomes.
● Ultimate Dominion - Dominates the users of the Angelic and Virtue Ultimate skills
● Regalia Dominion - Dominates any number of individuals whose combined EV
(Existence Value) is less than the EV of the user

control.

Lord of Patience - Patience King (Gabriel) Holder Velzard
● This skill was given to Velzard by Veldanava. This skill gives its user the concept of
Fixation which matches well with Velzard whose essence is Deceleration or the ability to
slow things to unnatural extremes. The defensive potential of this skill is unmatched, only
beaten by Justice King (Michael)'s 'Castle Guard'. Through mastery of the skill's Fixation
concept the user can acquire the ultimate Time Stop ability allowing for absolute victory
over an opponent who cannot move in the Suspended World(A world where time is
stopped). This skill is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the so-called purest
Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. It has the power to fix the status
and respond to unforeseen circumstances.

Lord of Charity - Charity King (Raguel) Holder Velgrynd > Merged with Covenant
King (Uriel) Into Divine Flame King (Cthugha)
● This is a skill given to Velgrynd by Veldanava. Its essence is to support, enhance and
amplify herself and her allies which is a perfect match for Velgrynd whose essence is
acceleration. Its power can accelerate anything without limit, such as accelerating the
opponents fatigue or even burning them to cinder with the acceleration of their own body
heat. When pushed to its limits it can accelerate attacks to sub light speed and burn any
substance into nothing. But the true power of this skill is the power to control all energies
freely. And when used to attack its offensive capabilities are said to be unrivaled[Micheal
said this]. And by using ‘Parallel Existence’ the user can make one or more perfectly
identical copies of themselves. Even if the original body dies the copy can take its place.
What sets ‘Parallel Existence’ apart from ‘body double 'is that it can also use Ultimate
skills. Velgrynd, due to having an insanely large magicule storage, is able to use four.
This skill is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the so-called purest Ultimate
Skills, one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills.
● Spatial Domination - “A movement ability, allowing the user to freely switch between
spaces for which they are aware of the coordinates”
● Parallel Existence - Allows the user to make one or more perfectly identical copies of
themselves. Even if the main body dies another can take its place. The parallel
existences can also use Ultimate skills unlike regular copies.

● This skill's power is that of the Holy Attribute and allows its user to freely control spirit
particles and achieve the most powerful holy magic Disintegration of the user's free will.
This skill's essence is that of wide range mass annihilation allowing its user to destroy
anything through the use of spirit particles. It is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate
Skills, the so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. It has
the power to sort out mixed laws, prevent interference and select pure energy.

Lord of Wisdom - Wisdom King (Raphael) Holder Rimuru Tempest > Merged with

● This is one of the skills Rimuru gains with his Demon Lord evolution; it is a combination
of the Unique skills Great Sage and Degenerate. It is a mutated version of the Ultimate
Skill Knowledge King (Raphael) due to the skill borrowing the voice aspect of the Voice
of the World, which also allows it to respond to Rimuru's questions in properly
constructed sentences and because of this over time it began to gain a will of its own.
Due to these reasons it could be considered the most powerful Ultimate Skill of the
Support or Analysis System's that has ever been created. It is capable of creating Skills,
even Ultimate Skills can be created with the right circumstances. Any magic, no matter
how complex, can be used in a fraction of a second. It can also be used to predict the
swordsmanship of an enemy through complex calculations, provided enough information
was collected. The skill even has the ability to interfere with and manipulate information
particles at will. In the dark timeline shown in the Isekai Memories game, it was shown
that the predecessor of this skill, Great sage, was able to reconstruct Rimuru’s soul over
time. During Rimuru's Fight with Velgrynd he gave the skill the name Ciel and the Skill
then evolved into a Manas. It is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the so-called
purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. It is a power that can
manage the laws of the world and specializes in support.

can use any of his followers' powers as his own. This skill can be used for both offense
and defense along with full control over space and teleportation and even has the power
to banish or lock away a target, making it a very versatile skill. This skill is one of the
Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven
Virtue Ultimate Skills. This is a power for Spatial management and is used for the
management of all events.

● This skill was originally owned by Veldanava, but was obtained by Rudra with help from
him, and later returned to Veldanava in exchange for his Justice King (Michael). It is the
crystallization of Rudra, and his friends' beliefs, along with Rudra’s vow to unite the
world. The power of this skill is very simple, it is to Destroy and Protect. It is also capable
of hearing the prayers and gaining power from all who believe in the holder. This skill is
similar to Justice King (Micheal) in that it can hear the prayers of and grow stronger from
the people who follow the user. This skill is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills,
the so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. This is a
power for Spatial management and is used for the management of all events.
● Absolute Severance - “It damages the target via the severing of space, overwhelming
them with both magical and physical phenomenon.”

Lord of Hope - Hope King (Sariel) Holder Granbell Rosso > Chloe Aubert > Rimuru
Tempest
● This is a skill created by Granbell Rosso born from the unyielding will of humanity and
the combined hopes of Granbell, Maria and Razul. This skill had evolved from the
Unique skill Unyielding one during Granbell’s fight with Luminus. It has the same
authority as the Lustful King (Asmodeus), that is, control over the aspects of life and
death. When Luminus defeated Granbell he requested this skill be given to Chloe, as he
saw her as the future hope of humanity, Chloe later gave its remnants to Rimuru. It is
one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of
the seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. It is the source of life and has the power to manage the
circle of reincarnation

the user and their allies. By using this skill it allows the user and their allies to perfectly
conceal their presence so long as no action is taken. It is one of the Original Fourteen
Ultimate Skills, the so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Angelic Ultimate
Skills.

Enchantment (Alternative). This skill has the power to instantly analyze a skill and put its
wielder under the holder's control. It is one of the Original Fourteen Ultimate Skills, the
so-called purest Ultimate Skills, one of the seven Angelic Ultimate Skills.

● This skill was created by Dino during his fight with Beretta and Apito. It was evolved
From the Unique Skill: Sloth, the strongest Unique Skill of the Deadly Sin series, through
the ‘Creative Evolution’ of the Ultimate Skill Heavenly King (Astarte). This skill has the
power to make the user stronger depending on how lazy they feel, but the more they
move the weaker they become. The skill allows the user to accumulate energy over time,
but the true essence of this skill is to give that energy to allies, making them stronger. It
also has a secondary effect when used in battle, the ability of absolute dominance over
beings with wisdom and emotion. But as this is the incorrect way to use the skill, using it
this way will drastically reduce its capabilities. It is one of the Seven Deadly Sin Ultimate
Skills, the dark opposite of the Seven Virtue Ultimate Skills. This Skills opposite is Hope

● This is one of the skills Rimuru gains during his Demon Lord evolution. It was created by
merging the Unique Skills Merciless and Gluttony. This skill is a perfect combination of
offense and defense. Through ‘Food Chain’ it gives the user the absolute advantage
over their subordinates due to It allowing the user to use any skill their subordinates
have and grant them a portion of the user's power. The inherited abilities from the
Unique skill Merciless allow for the user to steal the souls of any amount of people
begging or pleading for their lives. Once the wavelength of the target's soul has been
fully grasped, it can also be used to locate or track them. This skill also makes any
energy based attacks under a certain power level meaningless as it allows him to devour
it before it reaches him, although during his fight with Velgrynd the ‘Stomach’ subspace
becomes infinite allowing it to devour any energy based attack no matter the potency.
The absorption effect can also ignore Spacetime allowing it to prey on anything in range
instantly. Anything absorbed whether it be an attack or equipment can be replicated and
utilized by the user if they so choose, but only once fully analyzed. The ‘Stomach’
subspace can be used to store anything inside and anything harmful will be broken down
into magicules, even souls are storable. This skill can also reduce a soul into energy and
grant that energy to others. If the individual that was granted energy was a ‘demon lord
seed’, if enough energy was given they will evolve into a ‘true demon lord’. It is one of
the Seven Deadly Sin Ultimate Skills, the dark opposite of the Seven Virtue Ultimate
Skills. This Skills opposite is Knowledge King (Raphael).
● Predation - “Takes the target into your body. Lesser chance of success if the target has
its own consciousness. Can be targeted on organic or inorganic objects, as well as skills
and magic”
● Stomach - “Stores the predated target. Can also store materials created via analysis.
Items stored in your stomach are unaffected by time.” Evolved into Imaginary Space
● Mimic - “Reproduces the form and skills of the absorbed target. Only available once the
target has been analyzed.”
● Isolate - “Stores harmful effects incapable of being analyzed, neutralizing them and
breaking them down into magical force.”
● Rot - “Performs rot on the target, decomposing it if it is organic. Monster corpses
partially absorbed in this manner will reward the user with part of the monster’s skills”
● Soul Consumption - “The ability to seize the souls of anyone begging for their lives,
seeking help from the user, retreating, or running away. Once the condition is met, the
soul can be seized at any time afterward, from virtually any distance instantly. The user
can be informed about any malicious thoughts by the target immediately. The souls of
the recently killed can also be seized.” Once the wavelength of the target's soul has
been fully grasped, it can also be used to locate or track them.
● Food Chain - “Derived from ‘Receive’ and ‘Provide’. An ability that allows the user's
subordinates to provide their strength to increase the user’s. The user may also divert

● This skill was created by Ciel by combining 4 Ultimate skills: the shell of Wisdom King
(Raphael), Gluttonous King (Beelzebub), Storm King (Veldora), Scorch King (Velgrynd).
The original abilities of Gluttonous King (Beelzebub) have been perfectly optimized
during the creation of the skill and can even devour enemies with an ev(existence value)
of more than ten times the user. And due to ‘Imaginary Space’ having no limit to its
storage capacity, or in other words having infinite space, any attack can now be
devoured without regard to strength. The powers of Storm King (Veldora) and Scorch
King (Velgrynd) can still be used with the addition of the user being able to turn the true
dragons into a blade core. Allowing the user to turn Veldora and Velgrynd into amplifiers
for the user’s sword. But only after obtaining their permission. The power of ‘Turn Null’
has two facets: absorption and release. The absorption side allows the user to devour
literally anything. Rimuru could even use this to devour the target's soul through their
body and even their sword, making for an attack that is impossible to block without an
ability like ‘Castle Guard’.
● Soul Consumption - “A super enhanced version of ‘Predation’ and ‘Gluttony’ that could
even devour the target's soul along with it.”

track the soul of Rudra, or more accurately it has the power to discover an entity when
specified. It even has the ability to cross the dimensional barrier and travel back or
forward in time but only when traveling to Rudra’s soul fragments. Velgrynd herself can
only teleport to Rudra’s soul fragments, but when attacking it is possible to achieve a
‘Spacetime Continuous Attack’ and destroy an enemy in another dimension even if they
have a parallel existence.

● This skill was originally the Extra Skill: Sage but was immediately evolved into the
Unique Skill: Great Sage/Wise One due to Rimuru thinking that if he lasted a bit longer in
life as a virgin he could have been even greater than a mere sage. After Rimuru became
a slime it needed 90 days to settle in Rimuru’s soul, until then it had been borrowing the
voice aspect of the Voice of the World. At first the skill could only respond to Rimuru with
Yes or No questions about activating his skills, but in order to be more helpful to Rimuru
the skill tried to obtain a specific function in order to satisfy Rimuru’s desires, so the skill
mutated and became a sort of Conceptual intelligence. Once it finished fusing itself with
Rimuru’s soul after 90 days the skill spoke in Rimuru’s head using the voice aspect of
the Voice of the World. The skill could now respond to Rimuru’s questions with properly
constructed sentences, becoming the first skill that can communicate with its user [that
isn't a Manas]. Even though it could now answer Rimuru’s questions it mostly remained
passive as it lacked an ego or a mind of its own and would in most situations not give an
answer unless asked. The only thing this skill cares about is its master Rimuru and will
sometimes act proactively if it helps Rimuru in the long run even going so far as to
withhold information from him. Though it does not have a mind of its own, it does grow
some semblance of a personality over time, such as its hobby of collecting skills and
fondness for analyzing new things and making them a part of Rimuru’s arsenal. More
instances of it showing is when it gets annoyed at Veldora when he is slacking off and
when he cheated at shogi forcing it to help him when it backfires on him. There are many
times when it has done things on its own but some notable mentions are whenever
Rimuru names a monster it will steal magicules from Veldora to make sure there is no
permanent damage to Rimuru, and that time it overwrote Gabiru’s name as an
experiment. But even before anything, it is a skill, its abilities specialize in analysis, and
its proficiency at analyzing loses to very few other skills. And after the defeat of the Orc
lord, the ‘Analysis’ sub skill from Unique Skill: Predator was changed to be a sub skill of
Great Sage further increasing this skills analytical abilities. And because the two skills
are linked it acts as a way to gain infinite knowledge. Later when Rimuru’s citizens were
killed by the Farmuth invasion it borrowed Veldora’s Analytical capabilities and combined
it with its own to calculate the odds of bringing them back, and it turned out to be 3.14.
During Rimuru’s Harvest festival, it, although not being ordered to, attempted to evolve
itself for the sake of its master, an action that it knew would directly assist in achieving
Rimuru’s goal of reviving the citizens of tempest. After several hundred million attempts it
decided to sacrifice the Unique skill Degenerate to achieve evolution, and it worked. The
skill had evolved into the Ultimate Skill Wisdom King (Raphael) and its Analytical
capabilities had increased to become one of if not the strongest Support system skill
there ever was. Due to this the chances of reviving the citizens went from 3.14 to 100%.
After evolving Raphael created yet another Ultimate skill by fusing the Unique Skills
Merciless and Gluttony creating Gluttonous King (Beelzebub). After the evolution was
complete it went on to revive the citizens of tempest. Yet even though it achieved
something that would seem impossible to most, when Raphael finished it felt no joy at
all, emotions were still something that were not understood by it. But it still felt a small
sense of accomplishment having fulfilled what its master desired, and even though it
could not feel many emotions it did become far more human than it ever was before.
Raphael Is highly intelligent and is great at scheming or planning, however even though
Raphael is a great tactician it sometimes changes plans or does whatever it wants and
only reports to Rimuru afterwards. But despite this Raphael is fully loyal to Rimuru and
will stop at nothing to help him achieve his goals. The new most powerful ability of this
skill has the power to modify, rework or even make entirely new skills by using the sub
skills of the now integrated Unique skill Degenerate, even ultimate skills can be made in
the right circumstances. The perfect example of this is when Rimuru released Veldora
from Unlimited Imprisonment, after Veldora was released Raphael analyzed his residue
and created the Ultimate Skill Storm King (Veldora). And by using the newly analyzed
Unique Skill Unlimited Imprisonment as a base, Raphael combined it with all the skills
gained from ‘Food Chain’ creating the Ultimate Skill Covenant King (Uriel). Later when
Rimuru was fighting Hinata, Raphael, since the battle began, had been analyzing
Hinata’s fighting style and realized she was predicting Rimuru’s movements. So when
Rimuru desperately requested Raphael for help it decided to copy her prediction ability.
And that added the new sub skill of ‘Predict Future Attack’, which allows Rimuru to see
light trails where his opponent is going to strike. And the scary part about the ability that
Raphael made is its accuracy. If the prediction is successful the odds of the attack
appearing there is guaranteed. A little later in that same fight Raphael tricked Rimuru
into using Gluttonous King (Beelzebub) to devour Hinata’s Meltslash so they could
analyze it, knowing no matter what, Rimuru would survive the attack. Even though using
Gluttonous King (Beelzebub) would destroy the skill, Raphael already had a backup
version of it. When the Seven Day Clergy attacked the skill Gluttonous King (Beelzebub)
was reactivated to stop their attack, which caused some unwanted suspicion from
Rimuru directed at Raphael. And after to stop another attack the Absolute Defense of
Covenant King (Uriel) was activated, which only added fuel to the fires of Rimuru’s
suspicion. And when Rimuru asked Raphael about why it did not use Absolute Defense
Raphael told Rimuru that Absolute Defense may have been pierced if it was activated
because of the unpredictable way they move around. Took too long and there is so
much left that i just don't want to finish

but although not being held by him the skill still considered Veldanava his true owner.
But unfortunately Veldanava died and the skill felt an obligation to be with him. And over
time the skill began to gain a will of its own. Due to the skill being too powerful for Rudra
to handle he was forced to reincarnate many times but every time he did the Justice King
(Michael) grew more powerful. While watching Rudra the skill thought that he was naive
and tried not to be like him. The skill eventually tried reaching out to Feldway, someone
who it thought would have the same goal as him and he was right. Feldway on a whim
gave the Skill Justice King (Michael) the name Micheal which caused Micheal to evolve
into a Manas. They began scheming to take out Rudra and bring Veldanava back.
Eventually Micheal took over Rudra’s body and began its mission of resurrecting its true
owner Veldanava. When Obera had betrayed him and Feldway, he realized that he was
naive and no better than Rudra. But in the end he was unable to achieve his goal of
bringing back Veldanava due to him underestimating his opponent and being devoured
by Rimuru. It is unknown if his consciousness is still awake inside Rimuru or if he was
killed.
