Quick Reference Handbook

1. The script shared will be in '.txt' format, open it in MS Word, save in '.docx' and then process.
2. Change font type to Calibri, and font size to 11 for all files.
3. Kindly ensure -
a) The script matches the audio and vice versa. – Please inform us in case of any discrepancies.
b) There are no audio gaps. – Please inform us if any are detected, with timecodes.

4. Speaker Tagging – Insert speaker tags from Celsus, use the portal for referencing.
Refer to the Style Guide – 6: Speaker and Non-Celsus Tags, page no. 53.
Default tags
 Operator – The standard operator tag:
[:p id="-1" name="Operator" :]
 Unverified Company Executive – The standard blank company executive tag:
[:p id="E00" name="Unknown Executive" type="E" :]
 Unverified Analysts – The standard blank analyst tag:
[:p id="A00" name="Unknown Analyst" type="A" :]

5. Currency - If the dollar type was not mentioned, simply attach the $ sign.
Else, use CAD, AUD, USD as needed.
6. If there are still word/words that can’t be understood despite best effort, denote with [indiscernible].
 Ex. We will start production on [indiscernible].

7. Unverified text (including out of context phrases) should be enclosed in square brackets. Make sure to insert a
space between the unverified text and brackets to avoid errors in uploading. [ xxxx ] is to be preceded by one
space or followed by any succeeding punctuation.
 Ex. The company has [ acquired ] them.
 Ex. Improved market conditions aided the growth of the net income to [ $256 million ].

Unverified names/titles and other proper nouns should be capitalized. Spelling and format should be consistent
on every occurrence of the unverified text.

 Market has been abuzz with the latest Fed efforts on the [ QES ] front.

8. Omissions – no need to transcribe verbal tics (um, uh, you know) and stutters/incomplete word.
9. Insert this tag at the beginning of each file - '[:MDA:]'
10. Insert this tag right before question and answer begins - '[:qa:]'
 No need for [:qa:] tag for calls with no questions.
11. Other tags to be used as required:
 [Technical Difficulty]
 [Break]
 [Voting]
 [Foreign Language]

12. On international calls, a translator will occasionally speak for an executive. Use the regular tag for the executive,
then the [Interpreted] tag, then enter the translated text - [Interpreted].
 Ex. Xi Jingping: [Interpreted] Thank you for joining us today.
