Identify 3 nature of leadership and cite situations where that leadership manifest for each

1. Process of influence

 Leadership is a process that has a great influence on the people being led by a leader. It
can be said that the leader has an influence/impact to his team if his people is doing his
direction, advices and guidance. Also leaders can have a great influence to his followers’
belief, behavior and attitude. For example, the parents in our house can be considered as
a leader and the children as their followers because parents are the one who guide, direct
and give advice to their children until they grow up. They also have a major impact to the
children’s behavior, attitude, and belief.

2. Symbiotic relationship

 Leadership has a symbiotic relationship with its followers. It is because the leader exists
because the followers exist also, if there is no follower there will be no leader. They are
mutually dependent into each other and have benefits to the both of them that make
them more functional. It is related to the organizations and companies that are operating
right now. As we all know there are management, which are the leaders, and employees
working in a company. They have a symbiotic relationship because they both contribute to
their success and career survival of each other.

3. Function of stimulation

 Leadership is an action that includes inspiring and motivating people to achieve a certain
goal. Leaders can be considered successful when they catch the personal interest of the
followers to the shared interest of them all. I can say that what Dr. Jose Rizal has done
may be considered as a function of stimulation because he serves as one of the leaders of
the Philippine revolution under the Spaniards’ colonialism. He inspired the Filipino’s hearts
and minds by sacrificing himself and making the Filipino’s aware on what is happening that
time and because of that, revolution started with a goal to be free from the Spaniards
oppression.
