ABSTRACT

PRONUNCIATION TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS

“English is not easy. It is not. The vocabulary, the grammar, the understanding of English words - it is hard. But if you are doing it, you are taking it one step at a
time and getting better and better each and every day.

The problem is, when you speak in English, much of what you say is not understood by a typical English listener. The sounds of your first language are so different
from the sounds of English.

This training will help you with the sounds of English in:
- How to pronounce words and sentences correctly.
- How to use natural English in everyday conversations, just like a native speaker.
We want this program to be easy and fun for you. That is how it should be. And this is how you are going to learn best. Don’t forget to relax and laugh.
Let’s talk about how this all works and how you’re going to improve.

- The first thing is practicing. The new movements, sounds and mouth patterns may make you feel very strange and weird. You may even think people are
laughing at you! That’s normal, because your mouth and your brain are just not used to this.

- The second is the ear-training. As you go through this training, every once in a while when you’re speaking English, you will say to yourself: “Oops! That was
wrong. I should have said it the other way”. It is awareness. It is listening and being aware of those mistakes over and over again.

Take it slow, this takes time but have a lot of fun. Please tell your friends about this training, and get them to sign up too because it’s more fun when you take this
program with your friends. You can practice together and learn together. And you can help each other improve really quickly. I wish you the best of luck and make it
a great day.”
