Phase-In of the Next Generation Cat® 330, 330GC / Phase-Out of the 330FL
Hydraulic Excavator
Effective immediately, Caterpillar will begin the phase-in plan for the Next Generation 330/330GC and
phase-out of the 330FL Hydraulic Excavator for sale into GCN2 (South Korea) region.

The new 330 replaces the successful 330FL. This excavator brings industry-leading performance with
easy-to-use technologies that drastically reduce cost per unit of production; it also brings enhanced
structures and stability for customers who need to maximize productivity using heavy tools in heavy-duty
conditions.

The 330GC is a new model in the product line. It balances productivity with low fuel consumption,
resulting in a durable, low-cost-per-hour excavator.

Caterpillar will begin ramping up production volumes for the 330/330GC with first shipments expected
from our Akashi, Japan facility in January 2019.

Although order board open dates are listed above, MD (Managed Distribution) continues to be in effect
and orders must be placed according to that process. Machine quantities agreed to through BOM (Base
Order Management) may also be ordered at the appropriate times. Dates listed are subject to change,
please check with your local GCI Industry Sales Representative for any adjustments to the introduction
schedules.
