At a certain instant, the velocity of cylinder B is 1.2 m/s
down and its acceleration is 2 m/s2 up. Determine the
corresponding velocity and acceleration of block A.
Block B starts from rest, block A moves with a constant acceleration,
and slider block C moves to the right with a constant acceleration of 75
mm/s2. knowing that at t = 2 s the velocities of B and C are 480 mm/s
downward and 280 mm/s to the right, respectively, determine (a) the
acceleration of A and B. (b) the initial velocities of A and C, (c) the
changes in position of slider block C after 3 s.
Slider block B moves to the right with a constant velocity of 300 mm/s.
Determine (a) the velocity of slider block A, (b) the velocity of portion
C of the cable, (c) the velocity of portion D of the cable.
The rod of the fixed hydraulic cylinder is moving to the left with a
constant speed vA = 25 mm/s. Determine the corresponding velocity of
slider B when sA = 425 mm. The length of the cord is 1050 mm, and the
effects of the radius of the small pulley A may be neglected.
