INTRODUCTION

School Supplies may be classified as educational supplies or those


contributing directly to the work of instruction and also the materials needed by the
students, but not just student, these are also intended for all people. These are also
important to job seeker when they apply for a job. But school supplies are mostly
needed by students and teacher.

MJ school supplies is a store that serves and offers a product/item at specific


price that suits to the customer’s demand. The word “MJ” was inspired by the
owner’s names, who is an entrepreneur who engages selling school supplies. This
business will provide high quality product of school supplies.

Basic mode transportation in the areas are motorcycle, tricycle and even
walking when your house us located within Poblacion, Makilala, this is a mere
objective and a good avenue of the store to reach the target customer. You can still
avail our product regardless of the economic status and etc. And this is another
motivation of the owner, the affordable school product for everybody.

The business site can be accessed easily especially by the students in nearby
schools such as Notre Dame of Makilala, Makilala Institute of Science and
Technology, Makilala Central Elementary School and Makilala National High School.
The basic modes of transportation in the area are tricycle and multicab. Thus, there is
a good avenue for the store to reach is target market.

Its products and affordable that they can be made available to all regardless of their
economic status.
Goals

MJ School supplies strive to reach its goals and objectives during pre-opening
and its operational timeline. This will warranty its investors, customers, partners, and
employees of a sound business model that it will serve.

 To have a continuous stocks of item/product to avoid stocks shortage or in


availability.
 (To be a responsible business entity)
 To ensure jet profit is substantial to create a sustainable livelihood and
continually improve the Makilala community.
 To ensure enough supply for customer.
 To market MJ School Supplies to people who greatly need school supplies.

Objectives

 To conduct training of all employees two (2) months prior to business


operation.
 To create promos and provide freebies every two (2) months.
 To replenish stocks of item/product once a week to maintain a sufficient
supply to address the demand.
 To increase sales by 5% per year based on the target sales.
 To maintain cleanliness of the store.

Business Description

MJ School Supplies will be located in front of the Notre Dame of Makilala,


Poblacion, Makilala, Cotabato and this business will start to operate this month of
September in the year 2030. This business will be managed by Marjorie Dag-om. The
target customer of this business are students, teachers, etc. This business will provide
high quality of school supplies. This business will do some tactics and strategies in
order to have more sales of the products. We know that this kind of business already
exist but if is a challenge for a first timer businessmen like me. This business is just a
simple store building but very attractive to the possible clients.

Vision

MJ School Supplies seek to become the top store in Cotabato and enough to
cater the needs of the customer.

Mission

MJ School Supplies will strive:

 To provide customer affordable school and office supplies;


 To provide customer’s photocopy, encoding and printing needs with the
priority of maintaining customer relationship;
 To maintain a friendly, unique and creative work environment that will allow
the business to grow and generate income.

Product/Service

Strengths:

The business has enough kind and good quality of product in every month
and the customers has the opportunity to choose. In addition, they make sure to sell
the new materials onto the markets that surely the customer will patronize.

Weaknesses:

 Run out of product/item.


 As new and young business. MJ School Supplies does not have strong
brand recognition in the marketplace.
 Lack of distribution channels to market its software.
Capital

In this third round of funding, MJ School Supplies plans to raise 70% budget.
This time around, finance will address a variety of needs, including the development
of products, expansion of the marketing function of the company and introduction
of new materials onto the markets.

Distribution Channel

The owner will use the media that will be utilized to promote/communicate
their product is Radio Advertise as the specific communication strategies (per media
type she will produce her own advertisement to promote her product) in an orderly
and will proper manner which aired between 6 AM to 9 AM in the morning every
Monday to Friday. And also aired weekends which will be aired between 6 AM to 10
PM to get a lot of customer and to get higher income for her business who can’t be
worked during weekend days and rest day to those people at their houses.
