products in Market’ –

• ISI
• ISO
• fssai, ECOMARK, etc.
Prepare a project on the Origin, history, use, products included
and importance of these standardization marks in ensuring the
quality of the products as well as consumer safety.

Topic 2: Survey of 10 people paying different types of

taxes
• Different Sources of income of Government
• Tax revenue
• Types of taxes-
i. Direct tax
ii. Indirect tax
• Conclusions of findings.
Topic 3: Study of a nationalized Bank
Visit any one of its branches in your city. Analyze the main functions
of this bank’s branch. Collect detail information on the following:
i. Name of Bank
ii. Ownership of the Bank
iii. Address of Bank
iv. Year of Establishment
v. Name of banking services provided by the Bank
vi. Types of Deposits available
vii. Types of loans available in the Banks
viii. Public utility services
ix. Social services rendered by the Bank
x. Nature of difficulties faced by the Bank
xi. Awards/Prizes won by the Bank for excellence, if any (specify)
xii. Customer Grievance Redressal Cell
xiii. Conclusion
Students must follow the guidelines given by the teacher and work within
prescribed parameters.

● The subject matter must be properly researched to select relevant reference
material.
● Relevant pictures, drawings, paintings, timelines, newspaper cuttings, etc. must
be used to illustrate the reference material and content. These visual aids must be
neatly cut out and pasted on the left-hand page corresponding with the
information given on the opposite page.
● Illustrations must be neatly labelled. Important, interesting and relevant facts,
