UNIVERSITY VISION
The Ramon Magsaysay Technological University shall be a progressive learner-
centered research university recognized in the ASEAN region in 2020.

UNIVERSITY MISSION
The Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU) shall primarily provide
instruction, undertake research and extension, and provide advanced studies and progressive
leadership in agriculture, forestry, engineering, education, arts and sciences, humanities, and
other fields as may be relevant to the development of the province.

GOALS OF THE COLLEGE OF ACCOUNTANCY AND BUSINESS


ADMINISTRATION
The college shall aim for the following goals:
1.Continuously enhance instruction towards becoming a center of excellence in
business education;
2.Enhance the quality of learning and upgrade its facilities to enable student to:
a.Acquire the knowledge, proficiency and skills in their respective specialization
tracks;
b.Enhance their competencies in ICY-based and social entrepreneurship-focused
business concerns; and
c.Develop values required of professional accountants and business administrators in
the context of the evolving global industries and local and national economy.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLEGES OF ACCOUNTANCY AND


BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The college shall:
1.Equip and empower students for ready employment in the fields of marketing,
financial management, human resources management and public administration;
2.Adequately prepare accountancy students for CPA Licensure Examinations; and
3.Develop graduates with potentials a business administrators and leaders in
competitive industries.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource
Development Management (HRDM)
The Human Resource Development Program aims to prepare the graduates for a
career in the field of Human Resource Management in various corporations whether in the
manufacturing, marketing and service sectors, or in the different types of industries such as
pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, food and beverage, banking industries and other types of
organizations.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES


The objectives of the program are:
1. Complete understanding of the concepts, principles, theories, and philosophies in
Human Resource.

2. Assist students seek employment and facilitate the integration process in the
corporate environment so they can be immediately productive once employed.

3. Assist the students in appreciating the HR role in the organization and how they
can make meaningful contributions as a strategic partner in building the organization
to become globally competitive.

II. COURSE TITLE: Purposive Communication
III. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Purposive Communication is about writing, speaking, and presenting to
different audiences and for various purposes. (CMO 20 s 2013).
Purposive Communication is a three-unit course that develops students’
communicative competence and enhances their cultural and intercultural
awareness through multimodal tasks that provide them opportunities for
communicating effectively and appropriately to a multicultural audience in a
local and global context. It equips students with tools for critical evaluation of a
variety of texts and focuses on the power of language and the impact of images to
emphasize the importance of conveying messages responsibly. The knowledge,
skills, and insights that students gain from this course may be used in their other
academic endeavours, their chosen disciplines, and their future careers as they
compose and produce relevant oral, written, audio-visual and/or web-based
output for various purposes.

XIII. COURSE POLICIES


1. Regular attendance is required for all students. Number of absences is limited only
to 20% of the total contact hour (11 hours)
2. Wearing of the university student’s ID and uniform at all times is required for all
the students except when having field activities.
3. Cellular phones must be off during classes
4. Seat plan for large classes will be implemented
5. 3 Tardiness is equivalent to 1 day absence
6. Special Examination is only allowed to students with valid reason, and within 1
week after the scheduled examination. If the student fails to take special
examination during the grace period, he/she will incur a grade of zero on that
examination.
7. Students shall abide the instructor/professor’s policy on the submission of learning
outputs based on the metrics and deadline given
