Viewing Activity
Part 1. Short answers.
(1) He grew up in a very conservative Asian household, so his mom used to associate
tattoos with pretty much all the stereotypes you can think of. He was always taught
to believe that tattoos are only meant for gangs and dropouts.
(2) He wanted to know if there’s a line that’s gonna be crossed if he has a neck or face
tattoo. He just wanted to know what it was going to feel like to be fully covered.
(3) The first thing he does is call his mom to see how she reacts.
Part 2. Reactions of the following people in the video.
(1) His mother asks if it’s real and says that she doesn’t like it. She outright banned him
from coming home.
(2) His co-workers have a mix of reactions — some say they were intimidated by them,
others were confused, and some say that he was “badass” and that he should get real
ones.
