An inclined fault F-F affected a sandstone bed, point A is an outcrop of the upper surface of the bed, and
point B is the outcrop of the lower surface, C is the intersection of the fault plane with the bed on the
other side of the fault, amount and direction of the true dip as shown, it is required to:

1- Draw the outcrop of the bed along the two sides of the fault.

2- Calculate the amount and direction of the throw of the fault.

3- Calculate the true thickness of the bed.

4- Draw section X-Y.
