PREFACE
ICSINTESA 2019 has the theme "Embracing Industry 4.0: Sustainable Towards Smart
Applications" because in this era and the future smart applications are needed in various
sectors and jobs.
This conference was held to share knowledge with academics in their fields, contribute to
producing good research papers, and improve the quality and quantity of research in
regions and countries.
This seminar has two stages; the first is a public seminar, which discusses the topic
"Embracing Industry 4.0: Sustainable Towards Smart Applications" delivered by expert
speakers from Malaysia and the UK. And the second is a panel group, namely researchers
will be grouped according to their fields, enter their respective rooms to present their
manuscripts for about 30 minutes, and a discussion session and question and answer
session will be opened by the moderator input other participants.
The number of ICSINTESA 2019 participants, in general, is 310, consisting of students and
lecturers. With Participants, presenters are 39 presenters. The hotel has provided the
room and the technical equipment needed. All speakers attended and presented their
papers at the venue, namely the Grand Jatra Hotel, Balikpapan City, Indonesia.
All participant presentations went well and smoothly, and no shortage was experienced.
Therefore, as the committee is very grateful for the participants' participation because
2019 ICSINTESA is the first seminar, there are still many suggestions. Hopefully, future
ICSINTESA can be even better.
