9.

How to Analyze and do negatives the Normal way


- on a daily or weekly basis
Go to Seller Central >> go to Reports >> click Advertising Reports
-select the Search Term Report u want to analyze and Download it.

Remove EXACT Match Type since Target KW and Customer Search Term are the same already we don’t need to do the Negatives
Steps: [when doing the negatives]

1. From Search Term Report highlight the first row and put filters”
2. Remove ASINs [type “b0” from customer search term ]and put in separate sheet name “ ASIN”
3. Delete ASIN from the original copy SEARCH TERM REPORT [the remaining targets are Broad,Phrase,Exact match]

Tip: if you have different Portfolios and consistently arrange you can filter it by Portfolio and one by one do the Negatives.

Go to Campaign Name and select only the campaign you want to do Negative

Ex.
Ex. The product is “ Air Sleeping Pad” so, anything na di relevant sa Air Sleeping Pad are Negative {u need to identify those Search Terms} and highlight by yellow
it to identify that it is irrelevant .

Those yellow highlighted Search Terms under column Customer Search Term are example of irrelevant from this particular campaign…

Note: do this process for other campaigns. Highlight: yellow =” Negative Exact”; blue=”Negative Phrase”

After doing Negatives of all the campaigns Next to do is to upload this Negatives to Bulk File Report . Open the Bulk File Template for Negative

-Filter Customer Search Term by color “Yellow”

This is the Negative Bulk file template.

From the STR that you did the Negatives “copy and paste those with highlighted yellow”: Campaign,Ad Group etc..
