Narrator (Lloyd): Harold is a teacher and his wife Beverly is a

labandera. They have 6 children. Harold's salary is not enough to
sustain their daily needs. Also Beverly had no permanent job that's
why they always quarrel because of financial problems.

Narrator (Herisa): One day Harold arrived fr work at ito ang kanyang
nadatnan sa kanilang tahanan....
[ Scene 1 ]
Characters: Apple, Beverly, Harold, Aira, Mike Charles, Shekaina, Judy

(*Harold just arrived*)

Harold: Hey love, what are you doing? You're just wasting time and
money. May financial problem na nga tayo.

Beverly: Eh anong pakialam mo, di ka nga nagbibigay ng sustento for

our bills.

Harold: Anong hindi nagbibigay? You're the one who always spend
your money for useless things.

Narrator (Herisa): In the middle of their fight, their youngest

daughter Shekaina, go down to ask money for her allowance...

(*Shekaina showed up*)

Shekaina: Dad I need 1k for my allowance and I need to pay for our
overnight too.

Beverly: Isa ka pa, you always spend money for your friends and
hindi ka na nag iisip na naghihirap na tayo.

Shekaina: Okay fine! You guys are always fighting naman . Duh!!!
(*Shekaina walked out*)

Beverly : Ikaw kase bigay ka ng bigay sa anak mo. Kaya ayan spoiled
masyado. Tinotolerate mo pa.

Narrator (Lloyd): And then Judy Ann, their eldest daughter showed
up because she heard loud noise from upstairs...

Judy Ann: Ma, Pa anong nangyayari? Baket ang ingay nyo, are u
fighting na naman po ba?

Beverly: Wala naman anak, it's just some misunderstanding namin ng

Papa mo.

Harold: Yes sweetie, we will fix this dahil ayoko na nag aaway kami
ng Mama mo.

Judy Ann: Ah sige Ma, Pa. I'll go upstairs na lang po

[ Scene 2 ]
Characters : Josephine, Harold & Danny

Narrator (Herisa): Pagka umagahan, pumunta si Harold sa kanyang

trabaho as Teacher and his co-teacher approach him at may
importanteng tinugon....
Harold: Uy ma'am, tara sa canteen, snack tayo. My treat!!

Josephine: Sure ba. May sasabihin din sayong sure na makaka tulong
sa problema mo

(*Josephine and Harold arrived at the canteen and occupied the

vacant seats*)

Danny: Good morning teachers. What can I do for you?

Harold: Dalawang Zest-o at dalawang biscuits please.

Danny: Ok po sir.

Narrator: While eating their snacks, Josephine tell Harold about the
job hiring in abroad....

Josephine: Sir I have something important to tell you.

Harold: What is it ma'am?

Josephine: Diba you want a job with big salary? Spain is hiring an
English teacher that are capable of teaching in Madrid.

Harold : Oh really? What a great opportunity

Josephine: Yes living abroad is such a dream and they will pay you
big salary there and you can possibly bring your whole family. Isn't it
amazing?

Harold: Okay ma'am kindly inform about the paper needed. Bye

Josephine: Okay Sir, goodluck and thank you for the treat.

[ Scene 3 ]
Characters: Beverly, Harold, Jevia, Hezl, Guion, Judy Ann, Shekaina &
Julie

Narrator (Herisa): Harold arrived from work and he is ready to tell his
wife that he will be applying a job abroad. And ito ang nangyari……….

(*Harold arrived*)

Harold: Love, where are you? I have something to tell you.

Beverly: Yes love, what is it?

Harold: I am going to Spain. Mag aapply ako ng trabaho doon as an

English Teacher.

Beverly: Damn Harold, naghihirap na nga tayo, iiwan mo pa ako.

Napaka useless mo naman.
Harold: I'm doing this for us naman. And hindi sapat ang sahod ko
para bayaran mga bills natin.

Beverly: No, fuck you. Pano naman kami?

Harold: Damn, common sense naman oh! I'm doing this for the sake
of our family. For our children's future.

Beverly: Love naman eh. Sa tingin mo makakaya ko mag isa dito?

Harold: Pag naka ipon na ako, I will bring you guys there and we will
live the life we dream.

Narrator (Lloyd): And then Guion, their drunker son interrupt.....

Guion: Damn, what did I just heard? Are you fighting again?

Beverly: Damn, isa ka pa. Umuwi ka na naman nang lasing. You're

wasting your money for alcohol with your friends.

Guion: What did I heard, Dad na you're going abroad. Damn Dad,
maraming chicks dun

(*Guion fell asleep*)

Narrator (Lloyd): Their three daughters, Julie, Jevia, and Judy showed
up....
Julie: Mom, Payagan muna si papa, alam muna naman na di sapat
ang sahod ni papa dito eh.

Jevia: Oo nga mom, payagan muna please

Julie: Masakit man mahiwalay si Papa satin but he is doing it for us

naman

Judy: We all feel you, Ma. But I understand Dad's reason too. I
understand you both

Narrator (Herisa): As they deepen their conversation with their

parents.... Shekaina and Hezl interrupt....

Shekaina: Hello guys, what did I just heard na mag aabroad na si

Dad?

Harold: Yes darling. I'll be doing this for us, for you guys because I
care so much for our family especially my children's future.

Hezl: Mamimiss ka naman Dad, but I understand your reasons.

Julie: Kaya payagan mo na si Dad, Ma. Tatawagan na lang natin siya

lage.

Shekaina: OMG Yes mader!! Para naman may pera na tayo pambili
ng mga needs natin. Especially my outfits and accessories!!
Beverly: Mahirap man pero SIGE. Payag na ako!! Pero tandaan mo ha

*she pointed at Harold*

Beverly : Don't exchange me sa mga chicks dun ha.

*They all laugh*

[ Scene 4 ]
Characters: Beverly, Harold, Hezl, Jevia, Shekaina, Guion, Judy Ann

Narrator (Lloyd): 1 month later, Harold finally complete his needed

papers for him to migrate. And this time he finally said goodbye to
his beloved family. At inihatid na nga nila ang kanilang haligi ng
tahanan sa airport….

(*At the airport*)

*Beverly hug Harold*

Beverly: Do take care of yourself doon, love.

Harold: I will love and kayo din dito. I love you so much. Bawas-
bawasan mo na din pagsusgal while I’m busy working there.
Hezl: Yes Dad. I will take care of Mom, kaya ingatan mo din sarili mo
dun.

Jevia: Call us whenever you are free. We will miss you po.

Shekaina: And Dad, wag mo kalimutan pasalubong ko. For sure,

amoy expensive mga bilihin doon.

Harold: Pasalubong agad ha?

*They all laugh*

Harold: And you my unico hijo. Magpapakabait ka na and stop your

drinking habits. You should prioritize taking care of yourself and our
family. Halika nga dito.

*Harold hug his son, Guion*

Guion: Don’t forget to reto me sa mga chicks dun HAHAHA

Harold: Magtrabaho ka muna

Judy Ann: Basta Pa, tawagan mo lang kami pag may problema at pag
kailangan mo ng kausap
Harold: Sige mga anak mag iingat kayo dito ha.

*Harold hug them all*

Beverly: Kayo din love. Wag mo silang pababayaan.

*Harold kiss Beverly on the cheeks*

Narrator (Lloyd): And it’s time for Harold to finally get in and leave
his precious family.
FAST FORWARD………..

[ SCENE 5 ]
Characters: Harold, Jevia, Hezl, Beverly, Shekaina

Narrator (Herisa): After for many hours of his flight, he finally arrived
in Madrid. As he is going to the place he will be staying in, he explore
the new place…..

Harold: Wow so this is Madrid. I can’t wait to bring my family here.

You can do this, Harold. You need to work hard for your family.

Narrator (Herisa): As Harold arrive at his place, he immediately call

his family. And after that he take a nap because tomorrow is his first
day on his work.
*Harold call Beverly*

Jevia : Hi Dad. How's Madrid?

Hezl : Sobrang ganda siguro diyan in personal.

Harold : Finally I'm here at my apartment. It's so beautiful here guys.

Everything is amazing.

Beverly : Hi love. We miss you already. Thank god you arrived safely.

Harold : Yes it's my first day tomorrow of work and I can't wait to
bring you here.

Shekaina : Pasalubong namin papa ha!!!

Harold : pasalaubong agad? Anyways matutulog na ako, I'll wake up

early pa ugma.

[ SCENE 6 ]
Characters : Harold, Aljon

Narrator (Lloyd) : It's finally the day that Harold will start working
and he's so excited to meet new friends and acquittances. Harold
arrive at work, hours later he decided to take a break and explore
the school until.......

Harold : What an amazing place is this. Matutuwa siguro mga anak

ko pag nakapunta sila dito.

Aljon : Excuse me? Hello are you the new hired teacher here?

Harold : Oh hello. Yes I just started today.

Aljon : Oh great. It's been a long time since we encountered a new

teacher. It's nice meeting you professor. I am Aljon, a senior student
here.

Harold : I am your professor Harold from the Philippines. Nice to

meet you too.

*Harold and Aljon shake hands*

Harold : Let me straight back to work. Excuse me.

Narrator (Lloyd) : Harold get back to his workplace and pick up his
things to go home.
[ SCENE 7]
Characters : Harold, Zedrick, Daniel, Beverly, Judy Ann, Shekaina

Narrator (Herisa) : Days, weeks, and months passes by, Harold being
comfortable on his workplace with his co-teachers, he met people
who are always willing to help him through his bad days, he never
forget his family in the Philippines but sometimes he still feel
homesick thinking of the day he will be back to his true home. But he
always remind himself that he is doing this for his own family. He
always facetime his family and decided to introduce them to his
Filipino friends in Madrid which is also his co-teachers. They are
Zedrick and Daniel.

Harold : Let me introduce you to my family members in the

Philippines. Geh ba kayo mga pre?

Zedrick : Sure ba. I want to meet your family too.

Daniel : It will be nice to us.

Harold : Okay wait let me call them.

*Harold facetime his family*

Harold : Hi love, hello mga anak. How are you doing there?
Beverly : We're doing great here love. Natanggap ko na din pinadala
mong pera.

Judy Ann : Hi Papa. Kamusta ka dyan?

Shekaina : Dad, i'm so excited to visit there soon. I can't wait omg it's
gonna be an amazing experience for us.

Harold : Soon darling. By the way let me introduce to you, my friends

here.

Daniel : Hello po. I'm Daniel

Zedrick : Hi guys. I'm Zedrick. It's nice knowing you.

Harold : This is my wife, Beverly and my oldest Judy Ann and my

youngest, Shekaina.

Judy Ann & Shekaina : Hello nice meeting you two.

Daniel : Nabanggit pala ni pare na bibisita daw kayo dito. Hindi na

mapakali tung si Harold na makita kayo.

Zedrick : Magtapos kayo ng pag-aaral dyan.

Shekaina : Yes Dad. We will promise that we will get THAT diploma
you and Mom will be proud of

Harold : Oh sige na. We have some work to do pa. I love you . Babye

[ SCENE 8 ]
Characters: Harold, Shekaina, Beverly, Jevia, Hezl, Julie, Judy Ann,

5 YEARS LATER.......

Narrator : Harold getting ready and packing his things because today
will be his flight to the Philippines to attend his youngest daughter's
graduation. After for so many hours, he finally arrived at his
hometown that he really miss for a long period of time.

Harold : Nandito na ako mga anak. Love I'm here!!

*Harold hug his childrens*

Shekaina : Mom, Dad is here!!!

*Beverly showed up and hug Harold*

Beverly : I missed you so much, love.

Jevia : Ayieee forda miss nila ang isa't isa.

Hezl : Finally, we are complete for tomorrow

Julie : Wow Pa! Andaming pasalubong

Judy Ann : How are you, Dad? We missed you so much

Harold : Miss ko din kayo lahat. Oh sige na ready na ba lahat para sa

graduation ng bunso ko?

Harold : Where is my unico hijo?

Beverly : Di pa nakaka uwi, he got a job na sa may coffee shop. Di na

din siya nag lalasing. Napaka responsable na niyang bata.

Narrator (Lloyd) : They consume their time talking alot of things that
they want to share to each other. Harold told his family about his
experiences in Madrid.

Narrator (Herisa) : Finally they wake up early to attend Shekaina's

graduation. Shekaina taking the degree of Bachelor in Secondary
Education, Major in English.
Beverly : Guys, dalian nyo na! We are late na.

Hezl : Eto na po, bababa na.

Shekaina : Let's go guys. We're getting late na. God my make up is

fading.

Narrator (Lloyd) : As they arrive at the venue, the program started.

My god, na late na nga. As the program continues, it is time for
Shekaina to go up to stage to receive her Cum Laude certificate and
medal.

*Shekaina go up to stage with Harold and Beverly*

*Hezl took a picture*

Narrator (Herisa) : As the program ended, they grab the moment to

take a family picture as they are proud that Shekaina graduated.

*They took a family picture*

Narrator (Lloyd) : Pagkatapos ng lahat ng paghihirap ni harold sa

kanilang pamilya sa wakas nakapagtapos na ang kanyang mga anak
at ang kanilang pamumuhay ay maayos na hindi na sila kapus. Their
children graduated and finally they got a stable job. Also Guion from
being a drunker, now have a stable job. Thats because of their
parents dedication and hardwork especially Harold sacrifices of
wanting to migrate for them to have a stable life. Their parent's
situation inspired them to achieve all their dreams.

4 months later.......

[ SCENE 9 ]
Characters: Shekaina, Harold, Hezl, Guion, Judy Ann

Shekaina: Wow dad ang ganda pala dito sa Madrid.

Harold: Yes anak maganda talaga dito.

Hezl : Omg this is such an Instagramable pictures. My followers will

surely love this.

*They all sit on a bench and talk*

Beverly : I can't believe we created so many memories here already.

I can't believe we finally achieve the things we wanted to achieve.

Guion : Time flies so fast. And I'm thankful to you Dad and Mom for
being my inspiration and for being the best parents.

Judy Ann : We are really thankful to all your sacrifices, especially you
Dad
Shekaina : I have learned my lesson that I should not spoil myself
and spend money for useless things.

Narrator (Herisa): After 5 years of living their life in Spain. Lahat ay

sinulit nila mula pagkain at lugar na magagandang puntahan ay
kanilang pinuntahan as a family. There in Spain, they took the
opportunity to spend quality time as a family. They’re thankful that
they are together as a family and they celebrated every success
happened because of each of their dedication.

Narrator (Lloyd): After a long time of creating memories in Spain,

they decided to go back to where they came from. They go back to
the Philippines to finally spend the rest of their lives there. They also
miss living on their hometown with their relatives and friends. As
they arrive at their place, their friends and neighbors happily
approach. Siyempre galling abroad yarn. Their old friends, yung mga
kasabay ni Beverly noon mag sugal.

Apple: Hoy mare kamusta ka na?

Aira: Miss ka na naming alam mo ba yun?
Mike: Woah? Ang lalaki na ng mga anak mo. Mag – aasawa na ba
kayo?
Beverly: Gusto lang gyud mo ug chocolate char HAHAHA

Harold: Uy ma’am Josephine andito ka din?

Josephine: Oo, lumipat kami dito. Mga one year na din kami nakatira
dito.

Harold: Nice to see you again. You’re married already. I’m always
thankful sa offer mo sa akin.

Josephine: Sus wala yun. I just want to help you and your family. And
yes by the way, this is my wife, Apple. This is Harold my co-teacher
noon.

Apple: Hello, nice to meet you sir.

*Apple and Harold shake hands*

Beverly: Halikayo pasok tayo, may ipapamigay akong mga chocolates

dito.

Shekaina: Let’s go guys. We have a lot here.

Aira: Ikaw talaga shekai, di pa din nawawala pagka arte mo.

Shekaina: Forda lifetime na po eto.

*And they all laugh*

Narrator: At doon nagtatapos ang kwento ng pamilya ni Harold.
Mula sa pagiging kapus na pamilya hanggang sa nagging successful
ang kanilang mga anak. And it was because of their father’s
hardwork and sacrifices with their children’s dedication to finish their
studies. I know we all can agree with how Harold left his family just
for the sake of their future. We know how painful it was for Harold
to be far distance from his family. But his decision led them to where
they are now. All his sacrifices are worth it.
