CONCEPT MAPPING
Explanation:
The concept map above shows the relationship between Man’s nature of moral character
and Kohlberg’s stages of moral development and Rae’s seven streps in moral reasoning. In the
uppermost part of the concept map is the MAN which represents the individual’s moral character.
Below the MAN is the Nature of Moral Character which are the Stability Claim where moral
character traits are relatively stable over time, Robustness Claim where an individual with a
particular moral character trait will exhibit trait-relevant behavior across a broad spectrum of trait-
relevant situations, and Integrity Claim where a probabilistic correlation between having one virtue
and having other virtues. Below the Nature of Moral Character is Kohlberg’s Stages of Moral
Development where moral development occurs in a series of six stages that individuals progress
through as they mature and become more cognitively advanced, and Rae’s Seven Steps in Moral
Reasoning which is a practical and systematic approach to making ethical decisions.

In conclusion, the concept map highlights how Nature of Moral Character, Kohlberg's
stages of moral development, and Rae's seven steps in moral reasoning are interconnected. By
understanding these concepts, individuals can develop a stronger and more ethical moral character
that positively impacts their relationships and society.
