The aims of the report are to enlighten about anticonformist events happening every year in Nevada,
United States, and to give recommendations for visiting events, such as this one, based on the review of

Burning Man or Burning Man City is one of the craziest festivals in the United States of America, if not
the craziest one. This is a fest on the territory of a completely dried-up salt lake in the desert of Nevada
state. This festival is full of radical self-expression, acceptance of other people, and anti-conformism,
which means the effort of the individual to be not like other people. There you can do everything
coming to your mind. Want to sing in your rude unbeautiful voice? Sure, everyone will welcome it. Want
to create a model of a church and burn it? Everyone around will be ready to help you. What I mean is
everything you show, you can show without social condemnation.

As I mentioned, the fest is located in a dried-up salt lake, which is presently a desert. In this place, there
is absolutely nothing alive, excluding one fest week in the year, so you can completely settle down about
snakes, spiders, insects, lizards, or anything else. If you walk in this place beside the fest, you will see,
that there is absolutely no trash, because the people of the fest very harshly follow the rule, which says
it must stay nothing after you. Even if you smoke, you put your cigarette remnants into a jar you will
take away from the desert.

At the festival, you can drink, eat and chill out with no money on your own. But it doesn’t mean it will be
for free, because as a payment barman can ask you to dance, sing, talk with him, tell any jokes or even
take off a piece of clothing, such as a t-shirt. Fest buffs call the reason for this system a money-and-
corporations-free festival idea.

Burning Man is targeting 25 and older young people, who want to be heard by expressing some thing
coming to their mind, mostly opinions on different things, like politics, religion, art, musical styles, social
problems, and so on. But it’s not a going-to-psychologist festival, it’s not only about expressing an
opinion in a tolerating group of people, but it’s also about parties and going crazy. This festival is about
having rest from all of your daily problems. So when you come to the fest, they ask you to jump into the
sand as a symbol of leaving problems outside of the desert.

Conclusion

Burning Man City is a real perspective to lose the old version of yourself and reload your mind for
becoming more open-minded to this world, more optimistic and get new friends from around the
World! By ``open-minded`` I mean seeing not only the bad and boring in your life such as rain or
Monday work, but also new opportunities of getting happy, relaxed, and socially accepted. I would
recommend it to every bored man or woman getting tired of the same things every day.
