Factors that help in achieving goals:

1.) What is a goal?

- A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that a person achieved. A positive
relationship between goals and performance depends on several factors. First, the
goal must be considered important and the individual must be committed.
Participative goal setting can help increase performance, but participation itself
does not directly improve performance. Goals can be long-term, intermediate, or
short-term. The primary difference is the time required to achieve them. Short-
term goals expect to be finished in a relatively short time, long-term goals in a
long period, and intermediate in a medium time. Goal setting involves the
development of an action plan designed to motivate and guide a person or group
toward a goal. Goal setting can be guided by goal-setting criteria such as SMART
criteria. Goal setting is a major component of personal-development and
management literature.

2.) Give at least three (3) personal goals that you want to achieve? Explain.
- To become CPA
- To be Cum Laude
- To spread the gospel of the Lord to every people

In order to become CPA, I must study hard and never give up. Honestly speaking, taking up a
major course is a kind a hard for me because I also struggle analyzing business transactions
and I do a lot of errors when I start to balance all the transactions. Through that, I will do my
best and if I got a low score or grade, I will serve that as a motivation to myself to do more
better and it will be worth it someday. I will not give up because I am a fighter and I have
faith that I can do well. I must remember the enemy will do anything to bring me down and to
lose hope.
In my graduation in college, I want to become “Cum laude” just like my sister. I want to
prove my parents and my siblings that “I can”. When I was on grade school and middle
school, I was failing in class and I am a stubborn student who doesn’t care about the
academic grades. So now that I’m in college, I will study harder in order to become “Cum
laude”

To spread the Gospel of the Lord. As a believer and follower of Christ my main goal was to
spread the gospel of the Lord to many people because I also want heaven to be crowded and I
want people to repent their sins to Christ, to bring people closer to Christ, To let people know
God deeper, and also to accept God as their Lord and savior. In this way, people are under the
presence of the Lord because they already repented to Christ and they already accepted Jesus
in their lives. Sharing the gospel of the Lord makes me happy because by sharing, you also
feed your spiritual self by reading a bible, and also you let people know God better.

3.) What are the factors that help in achieving goals?

- To have a positive mental attitude A positive mental attitude is very much a

decision that you make. Remember, you become what you do. If you engage in
the same activities that positive, confident, optimistic people engage in, you
will eventually become one of them and live your best life possible. Anyone
can remain positive when things are going well. It is your ability to look for
the good in every situation that you see positive and start moving forward in
life.
- Good work habits Developing good work habits requires that you think before
acting. You make a list and set priorities on the list before you begin. Good
work habits require that you consider the likely consequences, positive or
negative of what you are doing.
- Skill Your level of ability in your field will determine the quality and quantity
of your results. The better you get at what you do, the easier it is for you to
start moving forward to get a particular level of results. As you increase your
skill, through study and experience, you get better and better at doing the small
things that increase the speed and predictability of your results.
