Course Description:
This course of Pakistan economy has been designed to provide the overall understanding of the concept
of Economy and how does economy work. After studying this course Participants will be prepared to start
understand economy and will find themselves active participant of economy.
Under this course student able to understand Pakistan federal budgeting and how they allocate on
provincial level .Students will able to understand national and international dealings of government.
Under this study we discuss how a house hold connects with provincial government and federal
government. They will able to play their vital role in their economy. After studying this course they can
understand the flaws and strength of economy .particularly participants can understand different sectors
of economy. By understanding SWOT and pest analysis they will able to develop new economic plans.
Thus, regardless of their future plans and hopes, this course can benefit them greatly in how they think
and act, from an economist viewpoint, in the future.

Teaching Methodology and Assessment:

This course is designed by keeping in view the requirements of the economics discipline. Current trends
reveal that not only business sector but public sector too emphasize establishment of a formal
management system, demanding induction of management professionals who have expertise in the
relevant field. Needless to mention, only those candidates can occupy these places that are competent and
meet the requisite criteria in respect of knowledge, skills and attitude. This is why this course focuses
more on practice to enhance skills and beautify attitude towards the management profession. Lectures,
workshops, and discussions and presentations of research papers are planned as class activities. All
students are advised to participate in said activities, failing which students will suffer in respect of
learning and grades. Consistent with the course objectives, lectures will address learning objectives
associated with weekly topics (as outlined in the weekly schedule), including basic principles and
working examples. While lectures will closely parallel material contained in assigned readings, they are
not substitutes. In particular, the lectures will clarify, expand and where necessary, update the material
contained in assigned readings. In addition to lectures, the following learning activities will remain the
focus of students’ attention.
