Have you found yourself during covi-19 Quarantine?

Have you discovered your ability?.. Or have you ever been able to reflect on
things these past few years?

I want to share with you how much did covid-19 helped teenage students like me.
If we notice, a large number of percentage teenagers are having anxiety and
depression and being lost with their lives. Probably because it’s part of the life of
every individual to experience being lost at some point in their lives and usually
these aging targeted the teenage year. Especially in terms of dreams, goals in life,
knowing what we want to do because schools don’t recognize all potential of
every individual, schools teach the student to analyze, to do their homework, to
discuss interesting things that never going to implement inside the classroom.
Covid -19 pandemic obviously gave teenagers the chance to know themselves
more that it’s only your academic that should be prioritized, to reflect, to discover
themselves outside, to strive to earn for their needs, to find themselves where
they really belong, to realize things that there are more things to discover and
experience outside the classroom.
At some point, implementing an online classes/blended education system during
the Covid-19 Pandemic has a lot to do with the growth of a young adult student.
Discovering and learning things outside the classroom is magnificent.
Many young individuals find online and remote learning to be extremely
beneficial. Some pupils’ engagement has risen, according to what I’m seeing in my
environment. Look at Facebook, young adults being productive selling things and
having an online job/part-time job. Students want to be stimulated and stretched
with high-challenge work, therefore high-quality online learning should not
diminish their expectations in digital work. More than a remote and inline
context, focusing on a broad curriculum provision, a whole education matters. It's
well worth it to resist the push to narrow the curriculum or remove creative
subjects. Learners can gain important broader abilities such as metacognition and
agency through good online learning.
Many young people love online learning, and it has helped some students
become more engaged. Schools should focus on making online learning ‘sticky’,
interesting and exciting. Some teachers also really give students exciting activities
inside their own houses that make them learn the culture inside their own house,
having bonding with their families. If you know what I’m pertaining to, those P.E
videos, those funny videos posted on Tik-Tok, Facebook, etc. by both high-
schoolers and college students performing curriculum activities.
Though in opposing, some schools require students to answer at least 10 activities
a day, an example of this is the case of BU Students who committed suicide, an
issue recently.
Online learning should not be considered a "quick fix." Schools should provide
high-challenge learning for all students because young people desire to feel
stretched.
Also, some students don’t afford online classes but the Government made a
solution to this. Here in our town, the mayor is giving students who can’t afford
online class financial support in order for them to not be stressed in their studies
anymore. We don’t want another suicide victim, we can’t afford another dying
youth.
Focusing on a broad curriculum, a complete education is more important than
ever. To keep young people involved online, it's critical to ensure that they can
continue their favorite subjects, not just key courses, and to support their
wellness and pastoral needs.
Learners can gain important broader abilities such as metacognition and agency
through good online learning. Self-quizzing with low stakes to give pupils a sense
of how their learning is progressing
These are some things to justify that online class/blended education has a lot to
do with the growth of the youth;
 Base to MAKE-IT.COM report “A 16-year-old brought nearly 2million dollars
selling gaming consoles in Amazon during this Pandemic”. When the
COVID-19 pandemic forced millions of people to stay home from work or
school throughout much of 2020, retailers saw spikes in demand
for products that were especially popular among people cooped up in their
homes
That demand helped steer records profit to some retailers during the
pandemic, including retail giants like Amazon and Walmart, as well as a 16-
year-old high school student from Hopewell, New Jersey named Max
Hayden.
“Hayden ramped up his side-hustle of reselling items on Amazon and other
online marketplaces in 2020 to the tune of six-figure profits. In fact, by
specifically targeting products he knew would be in high demand and short
supply at different points of the pandemic” – MAKE-IT.COM
What a witty man..
 Teenagers protected their mental health during covid 19 Pandemic. We lost
friends but we learn to reflect and rely on ourselves.
 Teenagers took advantage the social media through selling online, most of
them are youth.
 Many teenagers got careers in crypto-currency such axie infinity,
binance/binary, E-commerce, etc.
 Youth learned to think critically in many aspects. In terms of politics or even
examining some certain things if it really has potential.
 Youth learned to expose their true selves and not be ashamed to show up
their flaws, it all started when the Pandemic struck.

There’s a lot of good results brought by this pandemic especially to teenage

students.
Pointing out my position. Online assessment can be a useful tool for both
teachers and students who want to provide a more individualized curriculum.
Focusing on a healthy education system despite this pandemic still hasn’t been
solved. Let’s have a healthy online/blended learning that still teaches us to think
critically and analyze but still allows us to discover more from the world, allowing
students to convert our learnings outside the classroom.
